A great downtown location in Kigali central buisness area. Close to the pedestrian street with banks, tourist shops and cafes. Getting around was easy by local motorbike and very affordable at approx RWF 1000. The hotel does not have an elevator but staff will help with luggage. The restaurant / bar on the second floor is open air and overlooks the city. The food and drinks are well priced. Rooms are large and mine (4th floor) had an external balcony. Mini bar fridge / air con / tea making facilities in the room. The wifi was fast. Taxi from airport US$20

Hot water in the bathroom was a bit slow to warm up.

The bed was very comfortable, especially the pillow and I slept really well. The staff at the reception was friendly, also at the restaurant where we had a delicious breakfast. We felt safe and enjoyed our night at the hotel. I can warmly recommend this hotel regarding budget and location within the city. Everything like shopping and restaurants were within a walkable distance or easy to reach with a Boda Boda.

The room (adjacent room of family room) lacked a chair to put down clothes. In general it lacked options to store belongings and a table to lay down your things. For one night it was okay but if I had stayed longer I would have not been pleased with this option.

Gloria Hotel is well located in the central area of Kigali. Staff were very accommodating to allow me to check several rooms for the level of noise - there’s both street noise and the noise from generators to contend with. I eventually chose an internal room (windows facing into the interior of the building rather than outside). The breakfast buffet is great - but could be a bit more accommodating for vegans (eg plant milks and non-meat samosas). After a few days, the chefs got the hang of producing a hot dish for me that wasn’t egg-based - which was appreciated.

The staff are wonderful. The breakfast and the terrace are wonderful. The coffees are great and the African tea. The Fan in the room and the free bottle of water were very helpful. I felt like your hotel was a home away from home. Many thanks. I will be back.

The lack of shower curtain in my first single room meant that I put the floor full of water and then could no longer use my towel until the new one arrived. The second room, a double, had a shower curtain, which I enjoyed having very much. The tap in the sink in the single was not properly attached.

This unassuming hidden gem is located in a bustling area in the city. The staff members are hospitable and always ready to assist. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and was able to rest well. The views from the bedroom and restaurant terrace were spectacular. The complimentary buffet-style breakfast offered a variety of choices and was very delicious and nourishing. The wifi was consistent and reliable.. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel and would most definitely return when visiting.

I didn't like when my stay was over because it was such a pleasant stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at Gloria Hotel, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The team running the hotel was absolutely phenomenal, and their dedication truly amazed me. Every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations. The service provided was impeccable, leaving no room for complaints. Throughout my refreshing 8-day stay, I felt completely taken care of. The hotel's location was ideal, as it was conveniently situated close to all the amenities I needed. It was a great spot for someone like me who enjoys starting the day with a morning run or jog. Being able to step out and explore the surroundings easily added to the overall appeal of the hotel. I cannot emphasise enough how impressed I was with Gloria Hotel. Without a doubt, I will choose to stay here again in the future. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff for their exceptional service and genuine hospitality. They truly are an invaluable asset to this establishment.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. There is very good soundproofing between the rooms and you hear nothing from your neighbours. The location is excellent and enabled us to walk around the city a lot. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and also enjoyed a nice dinner there.

The rooms are very small, although for the price and location you can't really complain. The shower flooded the bathroom floor.

Its location is perfect, we had easy access to a lot of other places. Breakfast was great, there were so many options to choose from. The beds and pillows were super comfy, bathrooms, rooms and hotel environment were super clean. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. Most importantly, the staff are the most awesome people ever. Bruce most especially was super super kind, helpful, and friendly. The kitchen staff are not left out; very agile, helpful, cheerful, and friendly. I will definitely be visiting again.

The neighborhood, if you aren't familiar with Kigali and are just visiting, is in a very industrial, noisy and crowded part of downtown. I was on the 3rd floor so I could hear everything from the street until at least 10 or 11pm, and there was a balcony but I wouldn't go out on it because everyone can see the foreigner right there so I also kept the curtains closed all the time.

It was a perfect hotel with a perfect location (city center). From there we tok moto taxi to visit all the attractions in Kigali. It was cheap and safe. We just loved the hotel. Big room, refrigerator, big fan, super clean, TV, modern bathroom, delicious breakfast, nice staff, airport pickup (US$ 20), 💕,
