I enjoyed myself a lot, but what I really don’t like is the little metal lip when you walk in from the balcony I fell almost broke my knee, but other than that I had a really great time. The facility is very clean and needs to get better mattresses for your back, but other than that it was all around. Great trip Would do it again

I was grateful for some much needed time away. Overall, I was very happy with my stay at Compass Cove. It was helpful to have access to everything that was necessary for my convenience. I appreciated the staff at the resort. There was a slight issue, and the staff at Compass Cove said, “I would need to take it up with Booking.com”, so here goes… I was disappointed in Booking.com as they had advertised the room I had reserved, with pictures on their website (staff at Compass said that you do it all the time). The pictures were of a clean, inviting, and newly renovated space however, when I arrived, I did not receive the room that was advertised. The room given was still clean with everything that was needed, but dated and worn. No doubt this room will undergo renovations as part of the resort’s project. I wish them well in an industry that has struggled to recover from some heavy challenges in recent years. The real issue for me is the fact is that I felt deceived by Booking.com’s marketing. This is not uncommon, of course, in regard to the way companies strategize to sell things. I am sure that it was in the fine print somewhere that it was possible I would not receive the room pictured (I was tired and stressed when I made the last minute decision to head out of town a day or two). I am also aware that this is what disclaimers are designed to do; to make sure that responsibility doesn’t fall back in the company’s direction and ensure that the customer has no recourse which is “just the way it is”. If we are being honest, this marketing strategy is false advertising. It is just an untruth no matter how much lipstick you put on the pig. Simply put, bait used to sell what can be sold while dressing things up like you are doing the consumer a favor. It seems harmless. Comparatively, when we consider the many other issues in the world, it is a hotel room.

We had the most amazing view from our room. The bed was comfy and the hotel had many amenities right on site. So many pools and hot tubs, restaurants and a bar. The staff was friendly and hard working.

Our room was right across from the elevator and it was a little loud. There was some construction going on but we couldn't hear it, just had to take routes around the hotel to bypass it. We had to call the front desk and request clean towels and for the trash to be taken out but they were quick and accommodating about that. We liked so much more than we didn't like.

The room was great! The pools were fantastic. The cleaning staff was great!

The attitudes of the workers at the front desk were ridiculous. We've been staying here for over 20 years the same week EVERY July . We've never been treated like we weren't welcome here until now. Pool staff in the red shirts try to micro-manage the pools too. So, so rude!! Never how is your stay going always had something negative to say to even TO THE SMALL children. A great family vacation but had to deal with the unnecessary behaviors of the staff. Like the door code thing went out and THEY HAD TO REPLACE IT AND she gave us Heck OVER IT!!!

Picked Compass Cove because looked extremely kid friendly and had a great location. Our granddaughter had a fantastic time with all the pools and slides. The breakfast was really good and the Crows Nest had really good food as well. Our room was very spacious, 1 bedroom oceanfront suite Pinnacle tower. Everything in room worked and was clean. Staff was all great to deal with. The location was close to many attractions we visited. All good!

Only complaint for myself would be that parking is a rough deal. Very difficult to get parking spot especially if you have a bigger vehicle.

Location Food and drinks on 2th floor bar excellent . Breakfast was very good. Everything looks clean only needs improved a little.

Needs a little bit of work. Like fixing some things Rack of the balcony sliding door was broken. The inside Pool look dirty.

I loved the location, price was great and staff was very friendly. There was an issue with the toilet & when I called the front desk to get the issue resolved, maintenance came right away & the front desk personnel apologize for the inconvenince.

I didn't like that my room was dusty. Housekeeping need to ensure they are dusting.

I like the fact that the clean up people actually brought towels a d stuff to pur room while we wasnt there... it was cleanish considering they renovating. The rooms were very clean..

The fact that i paid for 2 full beds in one room and a bed and sofa in another room but when i got there i only had the king bed in one room and the sofa and pull out bed in the other also didnt like the fact that you have to run to the other building to us the restroom from the pools

I liked that there were several options of pools, lazy rivers or hot tubs to use. Also we had a gift shop in our lobby that was open later that had several items if u needed different things. They were prompt bringing u new towels the next day and taking ur trash.

I asked for utensils several times and didn't get them. And our table could have been bigger. Washers and dryers could have worked better. Maybe have some in the rooms.

Our room overlooked the pool and the ocean. This was a ground floor unit. The room was well appointed, and had lots of comfortable seating options.

I would have preferred a room on an upper floor. There was a lot of foot traffic passing in front of the little balcony we had, so I felt that there was a lack of privacy to some extent. The balcony was a bit crowded with two tall chairs, a tall table, two regular chairs and two footstools.
