The check in staff were lovely, and the room exceeded my expectations- it is big, spotlessly clean and the shower worked well. A great walk along the river almond was a lovely start to the morning.
The food and service at dinner - really not great. They were out of a couple of the choices (which is fine) but my Korean chicken came with a huge pile of tasteless, soggy rice, some doughy chicken balls (KFC would have been better) and was swimming in water from the rice - not good. I also had to ask at least twice for my wine.

It was a very comfortable stay. The bed was big, the room was kitted out nicely. The communal spaces were lovely and sociable. Nice to sit with our baby and have a coffee or meet with our family for a nice dinner. The breakfasts were organised and a nice spread with plenty options. The staff were all very personable and approachable, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The event that was thrown for us was also extremely well prepared and we couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere.
It could do with a bit of updating to freshen it up a bit but no issues with our stay at all. Also the pillows were a bit hard (personally in our room), but that’s not a huge deal.

We loved how peaceful it was, the room was big and comfortable, we extended our check out by an hour at the cost of £10 so that we could relax a little longer. Tea and coffee in our room with a biscuit in the morning was needed after a few bottles of wine the evening before. We enjoyed our meal of steak and chips and in the morning there was a great choice of hot and cold options for breakfast. There are plenty of comfortable options to sit throughout the hotel around the bar and the chap working the bar was super friendly. Such a nice guy and nothing seemed a bother to him. The receptionists in the evening and in the morning were both so friendly and helpful. Welcomed us with a smile and paid attention to us unlike other places we've visited. I felt the staff overall really did make us feel at home. The bar staff gave us an ice bucket for our bottle of prosecco we brought from home to enjoy in our room too! Overall I would recommend staying and we know we will return again soon because we loved every minute and have returned home feeling refreshed.
Starters are a bit overpriced for portion size. Waiter asked if we wanted the menu for dessert but never brought it to us so we didn't try the desserts. Room 402 had mould around the shower head and cracked sink. Questionable stain on carpet at the sofa.

We couldn't get to the hotel on the day we had originally booked (it was during a snowy period at the end of November). Although they were not obliged to switch our booking to a later date, the hotel did (thank you, Tracy!). During our overnight stay in December, the staff were very attentive, helpful and efficient, and there was a really nice atmosphere in the hotel. Our room was spacious; the bed was very comfortable; and the shower was good. Dinner was excellent, and we enjoyed our breakfast. There is plentiful, easy parking at the hotel and easy access to the hotel from the A85.
Some of the soft furnishings/decor were in need of freshening up. The seat covers on the small sofa and chairs in our room had stains on them - it looked like previous guests had spilled drinks perhaps. To be clear, the covers had been cleaned, and we appreciate the hotel can't change soft furnishings every time there is an accident, but at first sight the stains were very off-putting. Under the window, the paintwork needed attention, but - again - the room was very clean.

The location of the hotel was great for walking riverside and it was a short drive and walk to Inveralmond Ind Estate where I was working. The hotel room was lovely and warm which was great as it was -9 the night we stayed. The hotel room was clean and had tea/coffee making facilities with complimentary biscuits. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and the cooked options are made to order.
I agree with other reviewers that the online pictures of the hotel and rooms are somewhat misleading, however I have to say my room was clean, spacious and warm and with a bath (which I prefer) which to me are the main things, but generally the hotel could do with sprucing up a bit. The dining area for breakfast really was chilly but it was only 8am so maybe the heating hadn’t had time to warm the room up fully. On balance though we agreed that we would return to this hotel, the positives outweighed any minor negatives.

The staff are lovely and so very helpful, the property is set in a beautiful location and the stay went without any challenges it was a very easy stay and this was made even better by the friendly helpful staff that work at the hotel.
The Wi-Fi was a real challenge, it worked really well in the restaurant but failed to work at all in the room which is where i needed it the most as i was using this hotel while working away on business. I believe that in this day and age it should be possible to supply better Wi-Fi service throughout the hotel even if this extra cost is handed back to the guest as would normally happen in most hotels today.

We wanted something off the beaten path, and the Huntington Perth was great for this... and it had all amenities that we needed for two-night stay. Breakfast was great, and we stayed in one night for dinner. All the staff were great.
Using Booking.com, we booked a 'double room' for two-nights. When opening our door, we were surprised at the small, small size of our room... it was really too small for two people, each with a suitcase. Immediately I asked at the desk for a larger space and was told the hotel was full. Notice on the Booking website, ALL rooms as listed as 161SF, yet there are other guest posts that state that their room was 'so large...' I wonder if I had booked 'direct' and not via Booking.com, would we have been stuck with such a crummy room.

The hotel is in a peaceful rural location with beautiful, well kept gardens, mature trees, attractive borders and a stream running through. Our room was very spacious, with an enormous bed plus a comfortable sofa. The dining room and bar are beautiful grand rooms, all with views of the pretty gardens. Breakfast and dinner were good and the staff were friendly. After dinner we strolled along a track to the nearby river. Historic "Huntingtower Castle" is just a mile away and worth a visit.
There was a wedding party there on the night we stayed and some of the guests were chatting loudly outside under our window as they waited for taxis home in the wee small hours... (that was more a problem with them being inconsiderate than a problem with the hotel).

Lovely hotel, fantastic setting, Lovely gardens, very tranquil yet handy for Perth and other places. Great parking and plenty of it. Hotel looks a bit dowdy and need of some tlc on the outside but I assume it's a work in progress so don't let this put you off and it has not affected or been reflected in this review. The hotel is spacious inside and very traditional as was our Superior room. Couldn't comment on lunch/dinner as we had other functions elsewhere to attend, had a couple of snacks/starters at the bar one evening and they were very good - generous portions and very good quality. Breakfast was good, probably 8/10 due to the selection of choices and an indefinable lacking somewhere, but certainly an adequate breakfast. A standout feature of the hotel are the staff, super friendly, efficient and just could not do enough for us: Reception staff, waiting staff, housekeeping and manager, everybody!
See above - very little.
