Lovely location and buildings. Quiet and peaceful surroundings.

Breakfast on the final morning was a terrible experience. We had awful service. Had to ask for coffee and to order our breakfast. Toast never arrived until meal finished and then only because we asked a 2nd time. The excuse was that they did not have any wholemeal bread BUT we were not informed of this to enable a second option to be implemented. Due to this, I had waited over 15 minutes with my meal getting cold. The excuse that they were busy is not good enough as there was a wedding party the previous day with far more guests in the dining room.

The Estate is situated in a lovely area with golf course and driving in close proximity. The actual Estate facilties are lovely with a library with a coal fire and ambient music available. The eating area is smaller than most I've bee too, but the setting is lovely regardless with staff being very polite and wanting to help in any way you may require. Rooms are lovely and modern decorated, with views into the forest. Wifi is great and room facilities including coffee pod machine/kettle etc. Would go again no problem. The only thing was the car park, not the biggest. Got a space but looked to be the last. Nothing major though.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Murrayshall Country Club, and I can't express enough how truly exceptional my experience was. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, every aspect of my stay was nothing short of perfection. The first thing that struck me was the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings. The staff's attention to detail and genuine friendliness added a personal touch that made my visit even more memorable. Speaking of the restaurant, eating at EOLAS was a highlight of my stay. The menu featured a delectable array of dishes that showcased the finest local ingredients. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, and the impeccable service only enhanced the overall experience. Whether you're a foodie or simply looking for a delicious meal, the restaurant at Murrayshall will undoubtedly exceed your expectations. The accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. My room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and equipped with all the modern amenities I could ask for. The comfortable bed and the stunning views from my window made me look forward to returning to my room after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. Golf enthusiasts will find their paradise at Murrayshall. The golf courses are impeccably maintained, offering challenging yet enjoyable rounds for players of all levels. Even if golf isn't your passion, the serenity of the courses adds to the overall peaceful ambiance of the resort.

This is a magnificent hotel. Beautiful building, great views over the golf course. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant served an excellent dinner, and James gave us great service. The breakfast was just as good.

A little bit confusion with the entrance, as there are 2 of them. If you travel from the North East you come across an entrance to the Estate, which is really only to the golf course. Although you can park at the golf course and make your way through the clubhouse, there needs a sign at this entrance to direct you to the next entrance for the hotel, where there is another carpark which leads directly to the reception.

Beautifully decorated old stone building with loads of charm and character. Newly renovated luxurious bathrooms in very generous rooms. Gorgeous wood panelling and sumptuous leather chesterfields in bar area and super comfy chairs in dining room with its glorious views to the golf course. Fabulous food served at dinner and breakfast with incredible service from the waiters. An all up amazing stay and wish we had longer. Would definitely book again if visiting near Perth in Scotland.

The setting of the estate is incredible. Modern rooms and decor whilst keeping it looking traditional which is very nice. The staff are very attentive, professional and friendly and made our stay much more enjoyable. The main sitting room with the fire is the highlight for me, such a comfortable setting and nice touch to the hotel. The food is incredible. Dinner and breakfast is exceptional.

We unfortunately had a few issues, however were rectified right away. We booked our wedding menu tasting for 6pm but the hotel had it down for 7 so had to wait, however were offered delicious bread. We were then charged double for this which was an error and rectified. We were also charged for breakfast on departure of our stay when this was included, again was rectified. The hotel was/is undergoing a transition in staffing and some errors are expected but this was slightly disappointing.

Location was quite and beautiful.

Being a Golf hotel, I expected the room to be better decorated. Breakfast buffet was also less worth than I had expected. Although the Restaurant food was delicious. Staff were all very friedly, helpful and professional. Location: excellent. My Partner liked everything, but said that the Breakfast could have been better (more options/choices). If you like a simple Breakfast then this is yours. We however like sitting longer and trying something different to eat, because we are on holiday).

We had a lovely stay, booked specifically as we needed a week to relax, and Murrayshall certainly fitted the bill. Our room overlooked the 18th green and although not golfers we enjoyed the 'putting watching'! The location is wonderfully situated, near enough to visit local tourist spots, or enjoy days out in the wonderful scottish countryside and highlands. We would love to return.

The shower was a problem as the temperature fluctuated from extremely hot to cold quite suddenly, and the restaurant menu didn't change during the week that we stayed - so we did eat out a number of evenings. We also thought that a games room or table tennis facilities would have been a great addition.

location is absolutely stunning. Peace, quiet and tranquility. couple of nice walks available from hotel directly. Food quality is high although the fine dining restaurant can be expensive.Good breakfast. Bar area with open roaring fire is cosy and relaxing place. Staff are helpful but we did have to look for the bar man on 2 consecutive evenings in order to get served!

some cleaning issues in bathroom. clear that the cleaning team fail to sit where guests will and therefore miss dust/cobwebs and dirt/mould. Light drum fittings Ned cleaning internally, dirt/mould around bottom of shower controls and bath overflow which are not visible unless one looks at low level. service on room failed to refill tissues and shower gel.

Beautifully traditional style and a real aura of escapism. “ olde worlde” charm. Tartan carpet. Grandfather clock. Chesterfield settee in bar.. Lovely annexe area with seating, TV etc. Great place to relax.

Car park full. There was a wedding taking place. No info re this given to us to alert us re car park issues. We since discovered an “ overspill” and venue car park when out walking during our stay. Breakfast very busy with wedding guests on Sunday morning and a long wait for service ( not the staff’s fault) Need a system whereby guests select breakfast time in advance when hotel is so busy. Annexe had a microwave but no utensils if we wanted to use it( and we did..on the Saturday night when hotel was rather busy) (The local Co-op did have paper plates and disposable cutlery( not plastic) btw)
