WOW! WOW! WOW! I absolutely LOVED this hotel! I visited in May 2024 and only paid €110 for a sea view room (108) and had a huge balcony and fabulous views of the ocean! Bed was comfy. Shower was excellent! Free breakfast was delicious! The check in lady was super helpful and kind and spoke good English. Definitely recommend the sea view room!! The neutral pools (the free ones) were a magical experience to me! One of the best things I’ve ever done!

A lot of spaces in the morning and after 6pm. Busy during peak hours. + Views at breakfast time

- The shower was a bit dated and I had to hold the shower head to use it. Still powerful and hot though.

Excellent location. Staff eager to help. Next to a supermarket and close to city attractions (natural pools, aquarium, viewpoints. Free parking in a close by lot. Towels provided for the natural pool or jacuzzi. Heat available in the room.

Two single mattresses used to make a king size bed. Fee charged for the use of the in-room safe.

The location is excellent. 25 m distance to Porto Moniz Natural Pools and the ocean. We kept windows open in order to enjoy the ocean sounds during the night. There is pay-based parking close to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and made an effort to accommodate special dietary restrictions.

The experience was generally very good. Certain small repairs could have helped (the bathroom door did not stay closed) but nothing outstandingly bothering. I would gladly recommend this hotel.

On arrival staff was friendly and gave advice regarding dinner options, as well directions on how to get to the natural pools. Room was sea view with balcony, large and comfortable bed, cozy and clean!

Improvements are a constant, therefore the shower head could be replaced, the water was spraying everywhere but downstream, and the bathroom could have a deep clean.

No parking-you need to find an empty spot on the public parking-need to pay small fee if you come earlier than 7PM Ladies serving the breakfast could have use their smile little more and not looking like they want to kill me when I asked for an espresso ;)

We loved the location of the hotel, with all the restaurants around plus in a close proximity of the ocean. You can open your window and listen to the powerful sounds of waves breaking on the coast. Both the natural and paid pools are close by for you to enjoy. If we were to come to Porto Moniz again, this hotel would be a first choice on our accommodation list.

Location was right opposite the natural rock pools (3euros entry, bring your own towel). Reception was friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size. Showers were strong and hot. Air con in room and one of our 2 rooms came with a seaview- room 207. Breakfast was nice though cold scrambled eggs. Good selection of bread, croissant, cakes, boiled eggs and scrambled, yogurt etc.

Nothing. But take note restaurant closes at 8.30pm. we didnt try the dinner.

Lovely big comfy bed, great bathroom, bath robes, enormous flat screen TV, minifridge/bar, delicious breakfast with lots of choice, restaurant also great for snacks & meals...the food was delicius! We requested a kettle that was provided without any bother. Nice wee balcony and furniture outside to relax. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very close to Busstop.

They gave me a See view room with a huge terrace! the room was spacious, big nice double bed and all fairly new. There was also a modern huge screen TV with lots of channels. Good for a rainy day. You have the sea right in front and can enjoy the sound of the waves, day and night.

The lighting in the restaurant is cruel and reminded me of a surgery room rather than a restaurant where you want to enjoy quality time. Light needs to be dimmed and warmer. THX
