The front desk clerks need to be more welcoming. They didn't smile or say hello. We weren't acknowledged the three nights we were there although we said hello to them. When we stayed elsewhere the staff was always friendly! We plan to visit Oregon soon and would rather stay at another hotel than see the sour looks on the faces of the front desk receptionist.

The breakfast was excellent; in fact, everything was very nice. I was also pleasantly surprised that although we were next to the freeway, we did not hear the traffic.

My only complaint would be that the heater began to rattle at 3 in the morning, however, I shut it off and turned it back on in the a.m. the issue did not repeat itself.

The beds were incredibly comfortable - and there were plenty of pillows to suit every need - and even labeled (soft or hard). I had a very quiet room - and not a single disturbance from anyone. The maid service was awesome. All in all a very good stay.

hmmm. Maybe that breakfast could be served until a little later for those who have a lot of work to do in their rooms before going down - otherwise, I would have to say - everything was great.

We were so impressed with the cleanliness, extra towels, new updates and great breakfast selection. Had a full ironing board and iron, coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave which we weren’t expecting—so great. Location was around some great shopping and dining within a couple of miles. Air conditioning was fabulous on the 96 degree day. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything. Perfect place. Clean, elegant, easy check in and check out, friendly staff, good breakfast, coffee machine in room, coffee ready in lobby all day, wonderfully quiet and safe-feeling location, free parking on site, good value for money. Just the perfect place for visiting Portland.

Nothing. This place is literally PERFECT.

The hotel room had modern, comfortable, and clean rooms. The beds were quite comfortable and the overall vibe of the hotel was great.

The day we checked in a lady at the front desk wasn't overly kind and acted somewhat irritated while checking us in. The night time staff was great.

Good hotel South of Portland. With a pool and a little gym. There was a decent breakfast, and a little lobby as well were one could sit and have a meeting / wait for people. Good value.

The gym could have a little more weights, a squat rack would be nice.

Beds were comfortable, variety of breakfast,great location and awesome staff. Loved the honesty of your staff, we are from Washington and when we got back home we saw we were missing a bag of brand new clothes. When we called the hotel the next day front desk informed me housekeeping had turned it in. They held our bag til we picked up the next day. We will most definitely be staying here again.

Nothing everything was great

The breakfast was really good, lots of choices to eat. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The staff members were friendly and helpful.

The shower door didn't shut completely. The water leaked on the floor and almost caused me to slip and fall. Could have used at least two bar soaps one for shower and one for sink.

The breakfast was exceptional. I especially liked having fruit, multiple protein options—two egg choices and sausage—and biscuits rather than just sweet carbs. The location (once we found it) is very convenient to freeway Exit 291. We did have to call to get directions since our GPS got us lost (from Exit 292). Unfortunately the pleasant clerk who gave us directions also gave the wrong exit number (290) which got us lost again. She must have just misspoken because she seemed familiar with our plight and the roads—and must have known that the motel is right at Exit 291.

There was no night light in the bathroom, and the bathroom lights that were there could not be turned on without the fan. It's tricky—perhaps even dangerous—to wend one's way across an unfamiliar room to the bathroom in the middle of the night with no light source. Absent a night light, we could have left an overhead bathroom light on with the bathroom door partly closed—except that we did not want a fan running all night. Also, closing the bathroom door at night in deference to a sleeping roommate leaves one completely in the dark or having to turn on a blinding (to dark-accustomed eyes) overhead light with a noisy fan.
