I believe our room was #111 Was expecting a bit of an “outdated” room because that is what I saw in the photos when I booked! To my surprise we got one of the newly renovated rooms and it was a pleasant surprise! The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean!

I think, maybe, due to the new renovations there were a couple small issues with our room. The first that my husband noticed was the bathroom sink would only run hot water and if it ran for a little the water was untouchable hot. We had to quickly was hands. Another issue was our TV.. it was very difficult to turn on. We would continuously press the power button and it would not turn on. My husband somehow figured it out each time we turned it on.

The King JR suites are very nice for a family. I enjoyed the on site restaurant and the you can charge food to your room from it.

The breakfast hours are really early (on vacay I like to sleep in past the bfast hours of 5-9 although that is what I see at most places, plus the breakfast needs to be restocked throughout the open time. If you come around 8:30 you were outta luck for food) There wasn't much for breakfast (might be due to covid, but still, bacon & eggs would be wonderful) Having to share a TV between the bed and couch was a bummer. It'd be nice to have 2 tv's or an easier to move TV (on a swivel)

It was a beautiful building, great views, and close to everything but not right in town. Check out was at 12 p.m., which I loved!

I wish my room had a view of the water instead of the parking lot. But honestly, it was a great room.

The weekend breakfast was pretty good, once they replenished it. Weekday was basically bagels, coffee and some fruit - so OK. Rom was very comfortable and large. It had been remodeled and we had a nice balcony to view the dam.

Price seemed a little high for The Dalles. But the bed was comfortable and the availability of a nice quiet room for a couple nights while we visited relatives in Wamic nearby was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The key system was down during our visit and the front office staff was quick to make sure we had access to our room whenever we needed it. We took our puppy with us and it a great first hotel visit for her. She was comfortable. The room was spacious for her to run around and play. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It will be our go to place in the area as it truly is pet friendly and people friendly.

Bed wasn't super comfy, but it was just for one night.

Loved our stay here. We stay here often while in town. The staff is always very friendly and quick to help with anything even recommendations to local spots to visits.

Only down side is breakfast but it's not there fault. Covid has made the breakfest restrictions for hotel a bit tough to figure out a covid friendly environment.

we liked the layout of the property- food on site was a bonus and easy parking. room was nice - sitting space and little deck a bonus.

toilet was low and tub were old and not easy for old knees. a simple grab bar would make all the difference.

Everything was very clean. The staff were very friendly and professional.

The noise from slamming doors and other visitors was a bit much. My self and little one were awakened every night by others having a good time. There was also, I believe a homeless man, that made me a little uncomfortable.

the staff working on Saturday the 8th, rude. the breakfast, though continental, only had bananas that someone with gluten issues could eat.🙁

Check in was easy and quick. I liked that I received a text that restaurant/lounge was open. We were out having a few drinks and decided to check out the lounge at Shiloh. We enjoyed ourselves and so nice not to have to drive after having few drinks.

No snack machines in bldg A which is area we stayed.
