The bed was comfortable, and the shower was congenial. There was plenty of room, and parking was right at the door. I liked the table-desk but had to provide my own chair. Since I did have a chair with me, that wasn't a problem this time.

The most significant upgrade management could achieve would be re-wiring so that outlets were READILY AVAILABLE AND ACCESSIBLE between the beds, not hidden behind the top of the mattress, AND extras/additional outlets near/beside/on the desk. It's frustrating to find so few outlets in a room in this day and age when we want to use our electronic devices, to recharge our actual genuine cameras (and phones), and so on. Instead, I had to unplug the television in order to have power for the laptop each evening. Also, the particular style of shower head tended to swivel away from the person in the shower, aiming by gravity-default at the shower curtain. The only way to keep it aimed at me was to use one hand - which was possible, but not convenient.

Proximity to Acadia National Park! Although our only interaction with any staff (we checked in late and left early the next morning) was via telephone, the person who took our calls was welcoming and informative. A key box was available making checkin and checkout very easy.

The physical appearance of the property seemed to be in the midst of a renovation with maintenance machinery visible in the vending machine area and an incomplete roof replacement. Our room was comfortable and clean, but also seemed to be in the middle of an update.

Excellent value for price in a busy tourist area. Rooms were clean and well-stocked. We really appreciated the property's commitment to a quiet family vibe. And the choice of decor was much more fun than any bland chain hotel.

We never did figure out how to use the cooktop in our kitchenette. This was probably us, not the property, though (and we didn't think to ask someone for help). I didn't factor this into my overall rating.

Bed was comfortable. Convenient location. Spacious room. Very clean. Furniture in good condition. Frig and microwave in good working order. The wall mounted electric fireplace gave lovely ambiance. Pre-made coffee available in office. Had thick luxurious towels.

Only one chair in room... two would have been nice. Only one folding luggage rack... two would have been nice. No tv directory sheet. No kleenex available. Most rooms were on an upper level above parking lot which meant climbing stairs. This would impede access to room for someone who who has difficulty with stairs. It would be beneficial for reservation website to notify of this when making a reservation.

Staffs were very friendly, and the room was clean and spacious enough for a family with 2 adults and 2 kids. It's worth the price. Especially the hotel is located in between the bar harbor and Schoodic peninsula which is the plus for this hotel. local restaurants and a chain of restaurants can be reached within 1-3 miles. As the room is on the 1st floor, it greatly helped for the wheelchair access.

The quiet location was ideal. Close to Acadia NP, close to restaurants and supermarkets. Cute domain with lovely accommodations which you could spot in the dark from far away. The pictures don't do justice! It is way better in real life and the size of the room is quite large! Everything you need is available in this room and bathroom.

Nothing really, maybe the cleanliness of the bedlinnen.

Clean, decent-sized room with a comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower. Pleasant staff. Location a short drive from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park for significantly lower cost than hotels on the island. Convenient to restaurants and stores in Ellsworth, minutes away.

Could use a light or two by the entrance to the parking lot; lights at the steps from the lot up to the rooms were off or out. Hot water in the room was a little anemic.

I had a great experience while staying in this property, the location is very nearby to all food junction and also its very clean during check-in

Everything was perfect and the add on feature was the Kitchen which we get during our stay and that help us alot to cook food before going on any location so that we will not feel hungry during Trail and keep in touch with our favourite food.

We did not eat the breakfast, overall great stay a definite improvement since last visit in October. New management.

The room next door was really loud. There was a work truck coming in late and out early. With back up signals beeping. Not facility fault, but aybe could put all work trucks in separate parking area or book all workers in the same area away from leisure bookers.

Convenient between two destinations. Clean comfortable room.

The room could use some gentle upgrades. The bathroom had need of some repairs. Rust stain around the faucet. Staff obviously didn’t know the restaurant they recommended for breakfast was closed on that day. Generally, the staff was pleasant and friendly but didn’t know the community where they were located.
