We got stranded a 1/2 mile down the road because of a bad tire as we were traveling through. The tire wasn't available that day. The manager was very thoughtful and when our tire didn't come in until the next day @ 1:30 they didn't charge us for the extra hours past check out time. We REALLY appreciated that! And it was so nice to have a lovely front porch with rockers to relax, an accommodating dining area where we could get snacks, coffee and drinks. We met many guests who have been coming there for ten years or more and that tells you a lot! The staff is AMAZING! Helpful and clean the rooms excellent.

The room was a pleasant surprise. We requested 2 queen beds for 4 people. We ended up with 1 king and a queen in a separate bedroom. The rooms were very very clean!

The bathroom definitely needs work. In addition to updating, it needs grab bars in the shower as well as lowering the soap dispenser located in the shower/tub. Hand soap at the sink would help. The lighting in the room needs to be better for reading.

Very clean and spacious modernized rooms with TV, fridge. Felt much higher class/quality than most motels I’ve stayed in and much better than other hotels at this price point. Check in was smooth even though we arrived after the check in desk closed; they left the key for us. Was in a cute secluded area 10 mins from Bar Harbor and Acadia.

more explicit notice on the hours of the check in desk only open from 8am-9pm as we didn’t realize the open/closure time and it caught us off guard.

Felt like a comfy stay at grandmas, the bed put me to sleep immediately. Location is super close to Acadia National Park and not to mention it was more than affordable. Will definitely stay here again the next time I come!

Never encountered the staff, just on the phone. Shower was a little confusing and wore out but those are nitpicks

Very nice economy hotel, there was a microwave and fridge with a small kitchen table. Just a short drive into Bar Harbor. Several places to eat close by. This is a no frills hotel but very clean and safe. Great value, not like some of the big chain hotels, this is more of a cabin type feel.

The bed is really big and comfortable, and there’s no noise from the road outside. Sleeping here is a breeze!

The shower would randomly change temperature from ice cold to boiling hot.

The price and location were decent compared to similar properties in the area. Parking was convenient right in front of the room.

Water was warm but would not get hot. I inquired about checking in about an hour early but wasn’t able to.

I like that they are upgrading and improving this Motel. You can tell it was an old Motel at one time. They are doing a great job of bringing it in to the 21st century.

No rain gutters. Mattress could be firmer.

Room was very clean. Close to Acadia park entrance. Room was spacious.

Our bathroom didn’t have a vanity mirror although it looked like a recent repair had been done and maybe that’s why it wasn’t put back up. Pool also not working.

I didn’t expect much about this place when I read the review. But when I came the room was big, nice and clean. The bed was big and very comfortable. Beyond my expectations. Nice stay!
