The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, the pools and hot tubs were nice as well. The hotel is up on a hill above the rest of the city, and on the free shuttle line as well which was convenient though we didn't make use of it. Just outside of the really busy downtown areas, but still walkable to downtown if inclined. Was really convenient to be able to go out the back streets into Acadia National Forest with no hassle as well. There were blueberry bushes with fruit on them right along the building where we parked, which was cute.

Minor nit, the large base of the lamps on the bed side tables left little room to actually put other things on them due to the plugs facing out into the space where you'd want to put things like phone/glasses/tv remote/glass of water. The sofa bed only had one pillow and a light quilt in the closet for it, but that's really on us that we didn't ask for more. The skinny streets up the hill are not very wide, especially when a shuttle bus is going by the other way, so definitely need to take it slow and easy, but that's true all through town as well.

This is a wonderful spot as a base to explore Acadia National Park. You check in and the room is clean and has a mini fridge and freezer. Free breakfast to get you ready for your adventures in Acadia National Park wish is minutes from Acadia National Park entrance. There are pools and hot tubs to cool down/soak your tired muscles from hiking. There are even some coin operated washer and dryer in case you under packed and need to do laundry. Overall a great stay.

Friendly staff, clean facilities, and amazing breakfast every morning — loved the waffle maker. I also enjoyed their 24/7 coffee bar and free snacks (ie. apples and bananas). The location is excellent — it's only a 15min walk into downtown where there are tons of good restaurants. I enjoyed their outdoor pool. The staff is very hardworking, keeping the place spick and span. Seriously, I always see them cleaning. Would definitely come back again!

My only complaint is that there are no lunch or dinner services. Since there are no delivery options in the entire Bar Harbor, your only option to get food after breakfast is to travel to downtown. They do, however, sell frozen meals that you can microwave. That was my meal for the first night. A few other guests told me they just had an apple for dinner =-(

We had a beautiful view of the mountains and the ocean. The breakfast was fantastic with a decent variety. There was almond milk and gluten free options to meet our family's needs.

The ceiling in our room had water damage and my husband has a foiba about ceilings falling in so that was a little stressful but not a huge deal. I had to sleep under the mark but it wasn't a big deal for me.

Spacious of room. Hotel overall was great! Very very expensive for a Hampton Inn which is my biggest complaint. That & needed extra blankets. There weren’t any in the room & only got one when we asked for more.

Price & breakfast. Loved the waffles. But really just wanted some plain eggs & bacon. But honestly, that’s just being picky. The price is my biggest complaint.

Prices are now outrageous. $500-700 a night for a Hampton in is just unreasonable . Could hear neighbors through the walls too including alarm clock buzzer, blinds opening and closing and slamming doors. Made sleeping in difficult

Beautiful views, property is exactly as it appears in pictures. Very nice outdoor pool. Better than expected breakfast. Free shuttle service to and from the national park and downtown area.

There is nothing that we didn't like! Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and amenities were as expected. Hotel was not walking distance from town but the free shuttle made it okay.

Everythjng about this property was homely and comfortable. The best thing was a 24 hr beverage bar with hot coffee, tea and iced water. There were also microwaves for guests. Pool and hot tub clean. All Covid precautions still underway at breakfast buffet which was good to see

Our room situated by the fitness studio so woke early to the sound of weights dropping on the ground

The view, the availability to take the bus into town, the facilities, the staff friendliness, and the breakfast options were all great.

The body wash dispenser in the shower was not filled.

The rooms were simple but very comfortable and clean. The location couldn’t have been better and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was one of the bests we’ve had at a hotel!
