Great location, comfortable beds, great breakfast. We could store the bikes inside the hotel. I must especially praise the very friendly and helpful staff at check-in and check-out, because I had a different experience in this hotel before.

The quality of the rooms marked as classic is very different from the others (I forgot that when I was choosing the room). I am not sure if classic rooms deserve four stars. At least the floor should be restored.

I really missed having a small fridge. It is a nuisance. That we have to. Write so much bla.bla. Ein bisschen mehr. Oh for Gods's sake. How many words do expect. Or do you count the sentences. I repeat: I really missed having a small fridge. THAT IS ALL.

Nice hotel with Comfy bed, close to centre.

I am Coeliac and booked this hotel for the gluten free breakfast. All items were marked with allergies, when I took the bacon (as there wasn't the gluten sign) found that bacon was sitting on baguettes underneath!!! The GF packed bread was too hard I had to buy Schar sandwich from the supermarket and take it with me to breakfast. There were eggs and cheese, which I took, but I am positive that the staff are not trained about coeliac disease and cross-contamination. I am silent Coeliac so I'm not sure about the damage. No mini fridge in room To use the kettle area has to close the bathroom and vice versa to enter the bathroom, as there is a scrolling glass door.

Great hotel with lovely staff, from a cleaner, consierge to a receception staff. Hotel very well located, walking distance from the station and also to the centre, all the sightseeings close by, traditional Slovenian restaurant around the corner. Hotel rooms very nicely built, modern, all the new appliances and always clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing - all one could wish for..., dozen of hot and cold drinks, sweet and savory dishes, many pastries, breads and buns, charcuterie boards, wegetarian dishes as well as sausages and wieners, eggs in many forms - pan fried, omellete, scrambled, al sorts of sweet and sawory condiments, all in immaculate presentation. Gym is on the smaller scale, but well equipped... so happy I could use it so as not to get out of the shape after all the burek and amazing kremsnita I ate everyday.

The only downside in smaller rooms - there is not enough space to organise your clothing. No wardrobe, only narrow shelves and 4 hangers on a modern, yet impractical cabinet. Would appreciate some more space to put your clothes in, something like couple of drawers.

The hotel is centrally located and has many facilities available to guests. The bedrooms are a decent size.

I stayed in the hotel a few years ago and the standards have slipped. The hotel is clearly under-staffed. The breakfast room has been reduced in size and can be uncomfortably busy. There are so few staff that tables cannot be cleared quickly and food replenished. The reception area is also understaffed and the staff are not as helpful as one would expect from a hotel of this standard.

The room was fantastic. It had a comfortable, vast bed. The bathroom was fully equipped with a shower, hairdryer, toiletries, toothbrush, and toothpaste. There were a kettle, tea, coffee, and two water bottles, too. The staff was accommodating, except for the young man helping me to my check-in. However, he was rude and unhelpful. I don't know if he's working in the right place. A place without hotel guests would be more appropriate. But I also spoke to Martin during my check-out. Great man. He helped me 100% with the invoice. I thank him for that.

There are no coffee or tea cups at breakfast. There were only big cups. I don't like drinking coffee that way! Unfortunately, the lift to the garage was insufficiently marked. The hotel has three of them. Unfortunately, only the middle one goes down (marked as K1). But as they say: three times a charm. The entry and exit from the garage are VERY narrow. Watch your cars.

Arriving by car was super easy, check-in was really fast and easy. The hotel itself is one of the higher buildings of the city. We were on the 12th floor of the 13 floor building, being on the city side we had amazing views of beautiful Ljubljana! The room was fantastic, super modern and as an architect I can assure that the quality of the materials used were exceptional, the chairs, end tables, the lighting fixtures, the bed, bathroom faucets, shampoos and the body lotion, even the door hinges; for me the details make the difference... I am really happy that my couple of requests before arrival were satisfied, so the moment of arrival was even more special than I expected. Location of the hotel is superb, it is so easy to walk everywhere. The check-out for me is always a bit bittersweet, especially this time. I woke up early and had the opportunity to watch the sunrise through the mountains starting to illuminate the castle, all the city and the other skyscrapers. After enjoying the perfect selection (and not unnecessarily exaggerated that only goes to waste) of breakfast, with Slovenian specialities, we went to check-out. Both check-in and check-out was held by Peter. He was extremely helpful and friendly, also really professional. During the check-out we had the chance to have a great conversation, we learned many more facts about the country and the city. He gave numerous advices to better discover the seaside, so that way we didn't miss a single gem. Thank so much Peter for your friendliness, it will be great memory that I will cherish. Thank you to the all Exe Lev staff for turning our one night stay, into an amazing experience. If one day we come back we know exactly where to spend the night.

Stunning views of dowtown Ljubljana, one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. Fabulous breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Parking on site can be tricky - see below. Otherwise excellent location, historic downtown is approx 10 minutes on foot.

The underground parking is eerie :) and I think the number of spots is a bit underplanned. We were lucky enough, though, and got a place just in front of the building.

Nicely built and furnished, well-trained personnel, good location, same parking places, close to the restaurant(s) and reasonably close to the city centre... What more, to be fine?

There is no window curtain, only a blackout screen (drapery) at the windows to the office building across the street. I am sure that with a new shower head, the bathroom could be improved significantly; anyway, it's a thin comment.

Good location at the edge of the city center, good airconditioning in the rooms, clean (gets cleaned daily!) and comfortable. Our room had been renovated and had a nice sitting area. Located close to parking Tivoli I, which has reasonable rates. Great breakfast with lots of options! There's even a hairdresser in the hotel.

Room and bathroom was a bit on the small side, but this makes you go outside more ;)
