Everything is very clean and comfortable. Staff were beautiful. Breakfast was great. Location is central.

The Wifi is patchy - don’t rely on it. The room was a bit hot with no climate control (that we could find). Despite booking for 2 people, the room was only set up for 1 (a minor annoyance which was fixed. We asked reception staff about places to eat in Bloomfontein and the answer was literally “I don’t know” and that was it. I’ve never experienced that from hotel reception desk before in my 20 years of travel.

The hotel staff was able to accommodate us when we had an issue with the initial room we were issued. we were provided an alternative room with no hassle.

Even though all the rooms are non-smoking, the first room we got booked into, clearly had people smoking in the room prior to our occupancy. Hotel should fine guests that don't adhere to the rules. The room phone was also not working in the room we got moved to.

The hotel was very nice, with big rooms. I enjoyed the stay, the staff were absolutely nice and very professional. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and will definitely return.

There were only three small towels in the bathroom, we did not enjoy sharing towels or using the small (hand) towels. The parking was also a bit uncomfortable as we drive a rather big car. The guards were very helpful though to ensure safety at all times.

I liked how the place looked especially inside, the design and all. The food was very nice and the customer service of Masego was exceptional.

Firstly, the staff wasn't welcoming. Starting with the dreadlocks guy, he was pure rude & lacks humanity (UBUNTU). Secondly, the tall guy working at the restaurant/bar is very incompetent. Also, I make a special request which was meant by when I arrived zilch was prepared.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 days. It is quite centrally located, five minutes walk from the large waterfront shopping mall which is a nice place to go. The bedrooms were nice, good quality Internet and the staff are very friendly. However we were warned not to go out in the evening into the town centre as it might not be completely safe--

The staff were exceptional in service. Lebo at reception even assisted with freezer space as we traveled with fish from Capetown. It was a last minute booking but they were extremely accommodating. Even when we arrived late, supper was still available. Highly recommend

Nothing everything was clean neat and perfect for an overnight stay before heading to Johannesburg

The room was very nice, clean and cozy. Majority of the staff were on top of the game.

The room didn't have a DND sign inside, it also was leaking when it was raining. The carpet was somehow wet when we arrived. Some of the stuff dropped the ball by forgetting our requests and also not updating us if there will be delays.

I was happy with Your staff members from the guys at the gate who were very helpful with respect. They go out an extra mile to help us. I am also with the receptionist that served us and they warm welcome we received. Thank you to them our stay was brief but we were relaxed and made comfortable

We arrived late (at 21pm) and there was staff available to check us in quickly and hassle free. The restaurant was willing to prepare dinner for us although they were closing at 21pm and even delivered our food to our room. Check out the next morning was also very quickly. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The staff went out of their way to assist me with any request. I did not have a hired vehicle and had to rely on taxis and the hotel shuttle, which the hotel staff were wonderful in organizing - especially my last mixture requests and changes. Opa - the shuttle driver - was an absolute super star, going above and beyond to make sure I was where I needed to be on time and just a general good and funny guy. I definitely felt very safe driving around town with him and he was full of interesting facts about the town and its history. The GM Mark, also took time out of his busy schedule to send welcome emails, check on me during my stay, and came out to say goodbye when I was leaving - even though the hotel was hosting a conference that day. A wonderfully personal touch. Service was honestly phenomenal and while I am not one to usually write reviews, this review was so well deserved and worth the two minutes to fill out. I will make sure that our company books any future accommodation needs in Bloemfontein at Splendid Inn and cannot recommend enough to travelers in the area.

The kettle in my room did not work, but to be honest I didn't need and did not inform anyone - which I should have.
