Excellent location. Very comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Lots of storage space. A minibar, hairdryer, fan, heater, kettle, plates, mugs and cutlery available in each room. Deon is an amazing host. House on the Hill is one of our favourite places to stay in Cape Town due to its perfect location (within walking distance from the Waterfront, Sea Point, lots of restaurants and the Bo-Kaap).

There was nothing not to like. Everything was perfect. It exceeded our expectations.

It felt cosy. It was tucked away out of the hustle and bustle of life yet it was close and central to everything important and worth seeing to us. Management was very helpful with some of our urgent requests.

The people smoking outside our window in the courtyard, which is closest to room number 2. Closing the window helped in eleviating this discomfort. If folks sit outside in the courtyard to chat you can hear everything. Closing the window helped a little bit but you still get the gist of the conversation.

The place is nice. Quite and close to the Waterfront (about 15-20 min walking).. We did not see anybody on the reception except for the first day, but it did not bother us. I lived that thety left for us us coffee AND milk in the fridge - that was very good touch. Also the shower gel and shampoo smelled amazing! I would recomment this place.

Little things that are not worth mentioning..

This facility provided us with what we were looking for. The location is great. It’s within walking distance to V and A, restaurants/bars within minutes of the facilities, woolworths and quikspar within walking distances as well(grocery stores). Overall, great place! Would stay again! Only downside is load sharing.

House on the Hill is one of our favourite places to stay in the Green Point area. The location is perfect: within walking distance of the Waterfront and Sea Point. Our room was perfect (the three of us stayed in a triple room with our two cats). The beds are so comfy and the room was impeccably clean and well equipped with a bar fridge, hair drier, plates, cutlery, a lead and a safe. Thank you so much to Fred, being an excellent host and for making us feel so welcome. We already look forward to our next stay in October!

The location could not be more perfect (within 1 km from the Waterfront, Cape Town stadium and within walking distance from restaurants and Sea Point). Deon was an excellent host as always.

Perfect location just a few steps from restaurants and supermarket,115 mins walk to waterfront, , simple but clean room, selfcatering facilities, quiet place, safe neighbourhood, easy parking. Manager helpful with arranging daytour or car rental. Overall great value for the momey.

1. Location is best. Walkable to the waterfront, Stadium, Promenade. Good if you like to do morning or evening jogging. 2. Staff are helpful, give lots of good advice about attractions and transport. 3. Self-catering house with shared kitchen, utensils, containers, and, allow us to cook and warm our food. 4. Quiet place to stay

Some people smoke and we can smell it. So we keep the balcony door close to prevent.

Checking in was smooth even though our flight was delayed and we only arrived around midnight. The house on the Hill is really a home away from home. The location is so convenient, close to the shops and many bars and restaurants within walking distance. Also the famous Waterfront is within walking distance. All the rooms are designed in a very stylish way combining comfortable but modern deco with an African flare. Further, everything is super clean and rooms are cleaned daily. Staff is super friendly and goes for that extra mile to make your stay as good as possible. I would recommend this place anytime.

There is absolutely nothing I didn't like.

we loved everything! The little kitchenette (with fridge) for breakfast and drinks, great location with an easy walk to a variety of different restaurants and a supermarket. a short walk to the V and A waterfront and heaps of free, safe parking right outside. Fred was extremely hospitable and went out of his way to give helpful recommendations. All of the above combined with the price you pay, you really get such great bang for your buck - HIGHLY recommend
