We stayed here for a few nights and the apartment was very spacious with beautiful views over the canal. There is a well equipped kitchen, washer dryer, plus 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet for a family of 4. Perfectly located about a 12 minute walk to the centre at the V & A. We would stay here again in the future.

The only downside is the loadshedding, which is a pain. It’s not the accommodation’s fault but it does mean that very little amenities work during that time. Our Wifi didn’t work during loadshedding. We got the times via the app, to manage our day. But it was tricky because there were 3 lots kf loadshedding in 24 hours.

The apartment was lovely and comfortable. The view of the canals from the balcony was nice and it was just a short walk to the V&A waterfront shops and restaurants, and the views of the amazing Table Mountain.

There was no hair dryer in the room and had to get one from reception. The reception in the car park was a little hard to find when we first arrived.

While the directions to the business office were clear, the procedure seemed complicated since we collected keys from on place, then had to register with Security and then wait for someone to show us to the apartment. It would have helped to complete the registration from online before hand as we needed PP numbers for each guest and not all arrived at the same time. In addition they missed the fob from one key set so we had to return to the office for this. This could all have been more clearly explained in the pre arrival information

Lift didn't work for the whole three days of our stay which meant that luggage and cycles had to be carried up and down the stairs. In addition as a result of load shedding some of the automatic entry doors did not always open for inward or outward access.

Excellent location. The apartments are really tranquil even though you are walking distance to the hustle and bustle of V&A water front.

During load shedding I was unable to exit the building without a call for assistance. I had to wait for around 20minutes and 2 phone calls. I think this is a real safety hazard if there is a fire in the building . I do think at a property of this standard and price, it should be better equipped for load shedding. A lamp was supplied and 1 tv was the only thing working in the unit. The bed in the main bedroom was terribly uncomfortable with two indents on either side of the mattress

The apartment is spacious and beautiful balcony. The rooms and bathrooms were really clean and fresh and the towels and linen were as equally fresh. The views were outstanding, the apartment is very well located and in close proximity to the waterfront, a few minutes walk.

the liquid soap etc was replaced daily, toilet paper wasn’t replaced daily. neither was the other supplies.

Reception desk was extremely helpful with check in (even allowed a slightly early check in and slightly late checkout, also arranged airport transfers and local tours for us). Facilities are first class in the flat- five star in my view. Location must be one of the best in Cape Town, within the V& A Waterfront Complex. Security very reassuring.

Nothing which was in the control of the Lawhill Apartments Complex. The load shedding (power cuts) across S Africa was quite inconvenient though.

A beautiful, safe and wonderful location. The property was spacious and nice and comfortable. I liked having a full kitchen with washer and dryer.

I did not like having to retrieve the keys from another location and then need to stop to program keys. Also: we only had one set of keys to the Condo and the programmed keys did not work on occasion requiring to have to go back and re-set the keys.

Place was same as pictures. Very helpful staff when checking in. Good value for money and overall I will definitely return mainly because of the beautiful city of Cape Town.

The room was very dirty, the cleaning staff are really letting you down. The toilet was not clean and we were horrified. We went and purchased cleaning liquids to clean it ourselves. The coffee machine had over five used pods inside them that was used and not disposed of. Our first cup of coffee that was made came out with full dirt inside. The kitchen dishes, counter, extractor was not clean at all. On the first day we left two cups in the sink and the cleaning staff put that in the dish washer, that is such a waste of water, electricity and money. We cleaned the flat before we left to the best of our ability but the cleaning staff has really let you down on this one.

Very Nice Apartment. Fantastic Location. Had drinks at the One and Only which is part of the complex. A 2 minute walk through the gates to V & A shops. I would stay again on my next trip.

Only downside is that Lawhill catches the morning sun and which moves by 10-11am. Other blocks catch more sunlight hours.
