What a fantastic surprise this was. The hotel is set in a quiet street a very short distance from the Waterfront. My room (#1) was spacious, spotless and fitted with all amenities needed. The breakfast was great served up to 11am for those who enjoy laying in. Best of all though were the staff! There are not enough superlatives to describe how kind and helpful everyone at the hotel was. Forget about staying in an impersonal huge chain hotel. This small hotel knocks spots of them. Don’t panic when you arrive and see the very non description front door! Press the buzzer and enter this gem of a boutique hotel, you won’t regret it.

The location is great in beautiful, residential Green Point with several restaurants nearby and a 15 minute walk from the Waterfront. A short ride into town as well. The room was creatively designed and it was lovely to be back every evening. Breakfast was a bit repetitive especially for a vegetarian but decent. All staff were very helpful. Shelley at the front desk in particular patiently went through my list of sightseeing activities and offered valuable advice. The hotel is very well maintained.

The staff makes this property! Reception desk, kitchen staff and housekeepers all fantastic. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The night reception was very helpful when we arrived very late to advise planning next day and restaurants. The kitchen crew puts out a lovely breakfast. Fruit yogurt, juice, cheese, meats, etc very fresh and delicious. You also had several options for egg dishes. Rooms were spotless and quite comfortable and refreshed everyday. A 10-15 minute walk to V&A Waterfront and Uber always close by. Also, they helped us arrange a day tour. We would definitely stay again and I’m recommending to friends on future Cape Town visits.

Nothing - all was great

I absolutely loved the spread of different items at breakfast each morning, together with great coffee, juice and different infused waters. Music that was playing was great, great vibe and lovely staff. The staff were fantastic and wonderful and were super friendly! The art in the hotel is very good as well and I appreciated the art so much.

No parking space, you unfortunately have to park on the street if you are checking in with your own car, we opted to uber and walk so it did not bother us as much.

The staff for start just amazing. Location is great. 7 minutes from the waterfront Underfloor heating in the room and bathroom + aircon, which was much appreciated as cape town was not kind with its weather when we went, so staying in was definitely cozy. Spacious clean room and bathroom My mom is usually an early riser but that bed did the things, she was out cold.

Although it said sea facing, not much of a sea view as it is obstructed by the surrounding buildings. The courtyard does make up for the lack of scenery though. They have a double garage which only fits 2 cars, so if you are traveling by car or renting a car you might have to park in the street. We rented a car (which i must say was a waste, cause everything is so close by, uber would have been more convenient and cheaper) nonetheless we had to park outside the first night and it being a rental made me very nervous but the guard and guy at reception set me at ease. We were there for 3 nights and sheets were not changed. I wasn't too fussy but my mom was not impressed.

Great small hotel positioned in easy striking distance of Sea Point, the Waterfront and Central Cape Town. Our room had a small terrace which gave us a great spot to enjoy our sundowners. The room was spacious with en-suite bathroom including a walk in shower. Breakfast on the pool area was great with a good selection of cooked breakfast and other options. Staff were very helpful. Delightful place to stay for a few days in Cape Town.

We had a really nice, large room with a large bathroom. We also had a balcony with a great sun lounger/pod which was really comfortable and a great spot to lay back in the early evening with a beer. The room was really clean and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The quality of the breakfast was average. The fruit and yoghurt was great but the cooked eggs and breads/pastries were only ok.

Perfect location to get to V&A waterfront and other areas of the city (we had a hire car but also used Uber in the evenings which arrived within 1 minute!) Room was comfortable and clean (we were given a different room to our original booking but were given a bottle of champagne for the change). Breakfast was a simple buffet style but delicious. We also had poached eggs with avocado made to order. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We had no plans one evening and were recommended Mojo Market which was a great shout!

Staff were incredible- couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel so welcome. Decor in the hotel is lovely and hotel is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was tasty.

Does not feel like a 5 star. Location is good near lots of nice restaurants, about a 5 minute walk from them but we had to get Uber everywhere- not a problem. Fridge in room was annoyingly loud and went off every 15/20 mins. Bathroom door is glass.

The lack of power two hours a day was a drawback, but a general problem for Cape Town. Pls. buy your own generator The lack of propper WiFi at times in the rooms was a challenge - though it worked in the lounge
