The staff were all amazingly lovely, polite, well-mannered, cheerful, professional, helpful, and an absolute pleasure to encounter. They made my first visit to South Africa a wonderful one.

The pool was somewhat disappointing, on my arrival. After 24 hours of travelling, the first thing I did was make use of the pool for a refreshing awakening dip. The water was cloudy with a floating film of dead midgies. I took the plunge anyway but made good use of the poolside shower before returning to my room. I mentioned this to the reception staff when returning my towel, and they said they would have it tended to. For the rest of my stay, the water was much cleaner but never crystal clear. In the room, the glass wall between the bathroom and the bed area could do with a blind or curtain on the bed side wall. Turning the light on in the night disturbed the other person. I am able to go to the bathroom in the dark; my partner is not.

Facilities are excellent and front door staff (security) are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and the restaurant itself offers lovely cuisine. The location was good for us as we are happy to walk but if you want to be near to the V&A and don’t want to walk this is a little out of the way but you really can easily pick up an Uber wherever you want to go, plenty of shops and local restaurants on the street itself.

Sounds picky and I’m not normally critical but we had to wait a very long time for coffee at breakfast, we were happy to serve ourselves but were refused to do so and every morning we would wait a long time even after breakfast was finished before we got the drink we ordered. The air con is weirdly very loud but on a plus it does drown out any outside noise!

Good location, only a short Uber from the Waterfront. Staff were very polite and pleasant. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Plenty of local amenities within walking distance if you need anything. Breakfast was very nice, with the chef making a variety of egg dishes on demand. Also, the hotel has a generator, so electricity and hot water was always available and I was not affected by load shedding in any way. Nice affordable hotel and I would definitely stay again!

The room I stayed in had an adjoining room door. Good for if you're staying with friends and family, but I requested a room without an adjoining door and none were available. The room did not come with complimentary water. Whilst I was told that the tap water was drinkable, it would expect complimentary water as standard for the standard and cost of the hotel. Breakfast was.good on the whole, but the fruit selection was very lacking.

Great hotel with absolutely exceptional staff: from the front desk, the restaurant, as well as the housekeeping crew! The hotel is in a perfect location of Cape Town. Supermarket, store, and all sorts of cafes are within 2 minutes walking distance. My family enjoyed their time there immensely. Would definitely be coming back to this hotel!

The walkup stairs to the hotel from the street can be a little too high for elderly folks.

Perfect location for V&A Waterfront, Table mountain, Sea point , Camps Bay. Room was nice, spacious and comfortable. Clean bathroom Good adequate breakfast. Staff - I cannot emphasis enough how good the staff were. From the Reception, Security, Restaurant staff. Exceptional service with a smile, professional...

Only issue was for the old school storage type Air Condition system. Made a lot of noise. Shower wasn't mixing well.... but not a big issue.

Absolutely everything, breakfast was delicious and well stocked. Staff went out of their way to help. Location is perfect. Parking is situated that it is extremely easy to navigate to any point in the city. Stadium, waterfront, CBD, and a lot of great restaurants all walking distance from hotel. Will definitely stay there again.

Although we were on a non smoking floor, we think our neighbors disregarded the rules, because some times the room smelled like cigarette smoke.

When I arrived the hotel was spotless and my first impressions were WOW. The check-in process was effortless and the lady was warm and friendly. You feel welcome. Then I proceeded to the room. It exceeded my expectations. Spotless - spacious - great scent - amazing desk - amazing bathroom with huge shower - comfortable bed - clean linen Just all around amazing hotel and so much value for money. Breakfast was amazing and the location is spot on

The entire hotel was great from staff to facilities to ambiance to the rooms

everything except food was a bit expensive though nice and health. The restaurant staff are well trained to handle a clientele of diverse cultures. I also liked the security alert brochure in the room

Hotel must have a shuttle bus for airport pickups and tourism visits. this will create more value and easy of access to clients. As for me i would be comfortable to ride in a hotel bus to go for tourism

We had the most amazing 5 nights in Cape Town. The loft room is very spacious with breathtaking views. The room was spotless Housekeeping team was amazing. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, from the receptionists, security team stationed by the lifts, the team at the restaurant- the ladies welcoming us at the entrance, waiters and the chefs. Breakfast was amazing, I really enjoyed the stewed fruits and freshly made lattes. Weldone to Nabila and team, we will be seeing you again in December.

Breakfast was great. I felt secure going in and out, and always as staff member at the elevator. Not necessary but I'm sure it's nice for peace of mind for some guests. The price was great, I thought it has great value. And I loved the brick theme throughout the building. I think underrated is the location. 20ish minutes to the V&A very walkable.

The comforters are pretty heavy and I would get quite hot even with the AC on. And unfortunately theyre aren't sheets usually on the beds so I had to request them. Not a big deal, but only thing I could think of.
