Great location, very central to everything in Cape Town, lovely views. Room was very nicely laid out and beds were very comfortable plenty of space and luxurious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was satisfactory, unfortunately there was a taxi strike on at the time so some of the food items on the menu weren't available. Would definitely stay there again.

The water system with the basin and shower we didn't enjoy, the fact that you could only operate the shower on its own and the basin on its own, the water pressure was quite low (I am assuming that was the problem!) so showering with little more than a trickle was frustrating.

The view was absolutely fantastic. Having breakfast on the terrace with view over the city center (including Bo Kaap) certainly something else. The rooms were comfortable, even though we got a bedroom at the bottom of the building. The staff was super nice and also kept our bags for the whole day while we visited the city.

The temperature control of the shower was a bit strange, but it was fine once you got the hang of it, so not a big issue.

property is such a gem 💎. reasonably priced and have all the essentials. They have strong backup power during loadshedding…. very welcoming and friendly staff, both the lady at reception and security, they are just naturals, kind and willing to assist. very neat and clean. signal hill lodge exceeded my expectations I made a last minute booking and everything was handled professionally… I wish I could stay longer

no bar fridge in my room but I guess the space is limited

The staf, especially Nadine Theron, were very sollicitous and helpful. The views from various seating areas were superb. Very quiet. The walk downhill into town takes only sbout 20 minutes from the lower gate, but we took taxis (firm recommended by hotel) back up after the first day.

The bathroom water supply arrangement id a bit wacky.

The place is very nice, the views are breathtaking towards the sea. The rooms are comfortable and fully equipped. The location is great but a sign is needed especially while driving on the mountainside.

Comfortable facilities with everything you need. Lovely view and very conveniently located. Friendly staff, perfect for what we needed. Generator a bonus for load shedding.

Breakfast preparations start early and the banging can wake one up, possibly because we were on the kitchen level but it really wouldn't put me off all the other great things about this place.

Only complaint is regarding breakfast. Omelettes are rubbery and could you please have an option for normal coffee and not the sachets and they do not taste good unfortunately. Would also be great if the cups were bigger. We ended up buying our own coffee and cups and took it with us to breakfast. The other breakfast options i.e fried eggs and scramble eggs etc are great however.

The room was exceptionally displayed and cleaned to be presented for us. Location was good, the scenery from my room was amazing as well as going onto the balcony the view was breathetaking.

The TV is mounted too close to the wall, so it is difficult to plug in a USB or HDMI cable at the back of the TV. The tv has to be dismounted and held so that something can be inserted behind it where the ports are. Other than this the stay was amazing. Bar should be open till 12 at least I'm not sure what time it closed but it wasn't 23:00 yet and it was closed so that was a bit sad

The location was out of this world! The views were incredible set in beautiful and well kept gardens. It really was a fantastic and wonderful stay with a very helpful, warm and friendly group of staff ... run very efficiently. I honestly cannot think of anything i did not like.

Breakfast was excellent and on time. Location was a bit complicated and confused google map as it directed me on the street at the back of the lodge. I drove away and back again still took me to the same spot up until I called the lodge for directions. Thanks to Nicky who was so patient and helpful, she even went an extra mile using her personal mobile phone to assist me as they had loadshedding. Nicky also enjoyed taking pictures of me at the lodge as I requested with love and patience making sure I enjoy my Birthday. I call her Nicky the photographer. Other staff members(cleaners) were very nice and friendly
