So quite, even though it is in a good location close to everything. We felt calm and safe at night. There weren’t noise from clubs.

There isn’t an easy way to climb to the top bunk bed. You have to kind of jump or climb from the end of the bed. If it can be fixed for future guests to climb on and get off easy this hostel will really be perfect!

What a wonderful property! Exceeded all expectations. Amazing, old-school hostel vibe. They're not trying for and don't want to be an industrial warehouse party hostel. It's a down to earth place to chill, hang with new friends, and work on a business-grade internet connection (stable averaging 40 Mbps). Cool nooks to hang out alone or with others. Backpacker-priced restaurant with great breakfast. Entire staff is amazing and a few live on premises. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when I swing back to Cape Town. Thank you for having me.

Decent location with view of Table Mountain/Lion's Head, and close to Kloof Street area. A very homely place, with very nice friendly staff. Small, but decent value for money, for a private room, if you need/want your own space. I'd stay here again if i came with friends, or knew there would definitely be other travelers there.

Unfortunately not the vibe for me whilst i was there, as not really any travelers there at the time, just a dozen teenagers on some 2-month college trip from abroad, who took over the common areas. Might be worth enquiring beforehand if in doubt.

Warm welcome, staff super kind, helpful which just made my short stay very relaxing. Location is great, if you have a car you can rent a parking bay. It's just far away that ithere is no noise at night which is great to sleep but also just close enough that either way you can be at Company’s Gardens or Gardens Shopping in under 15 muinutes.

Its extremely good value for money and cleaned/maintained, however when I was there the dorms were quiet empty - interested to see what it looks like.

I would really recommend a stay in the Zebra Crossing Backpacker. The place is comfy, lovely and the the two owners are super kind, friendly and helpful. The bedroom was clean and so were the bathrooms. The kitchen had enough space and there were enough things to cook your meal. Also they gave us any information for a safety stay in Cape Town. Thank you so much 😊

It was a very nice stay there. I felt comfortable and was accepted into the hostel family. All the staff at the hostel are super nice and friendly. The hostel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. There is enough space and there are several bathrooms. There is a small café where you can have a delicious breakfast or a kitchen with all the utensils you need to cook. The location is perfect, not loud and no partys but there are some nice restaurants and bars next to. You can find also some supermarkts and a public bus station close by. Or you just walk to the company garden or city center. Although you should be careful not to go out alone at night and definitely not take your bag or valuables with you at night.

Very pleasant, helpful staff.

Power outages every day. Not their fault.

Lovely room with a balcony and amazing view of table mountain. Staff and other residents could not have been more friendly or helpful. Central location for sightseeing and close to many shops and restaurants for dinner. Lots of help with requests like parking space etc. Met lots of interesting people!

Kitchen facilities were minimal. I believe microwave had just been removed as broken and not yet replaced. No oven but there were gas rings and you could bbq. Parking area is small but it did work and the staff helped organize so we could all get in.

One of the cheaper places to stay, the staff is super friendly and will do anything to help you out! They were so incredibly kind! The room is nice and clean, there is a small cafe that serves nice food for a fair price. Location wise its not to far away from the centre so you can easily walk from there. Wi-fi is stable and fast.

The bathrooms were clean but they feel a but old and dirty. In the evening they often cut the power in the rooms. But luckily the wifi keeps working all night.
