Staff very friendly, kind and understanding..very dynamic.Security was there throughout my stay and that also made me more comfortable.My room very spacious and clean.Was very quiet at night except the noise that comes from nearby places,but I slept peacefully.I truly enjoyed my stay at helpful Lodge.I would have loved to elongate my stay because I needed a place like that to relax and have rest.Thank you much,I will come back again .Shops are not far.

It's a little bit far from the center and I had to walk a long distance .

Location and the place had all the amenities I needed.

Door handle was broken, so door had to be locked every time. Shower curtain rails are broken off. Shower could do with a door and the bathroom is dangerous to walk on wet tiles with shoes. Too many drug pushers standing outside trying to sell to occupants. 1 staff member seemed very reluctant to assist with my requests. Always looking at me as if I was asking her to move mountains. I had requested a remote control then, batteries as it didn't work. Also, requested a pot to make something to eat. Room was only catered for 1 occupant. Other residents were making a noise until after 3am. Lots of children running around screaming during the day inside the accommodation.

The location was good and the breakfast. Its near everything and you can do what ever you want in your own space.

Affordability is always a main factor and Helpful Lodge was very affordable. Annie was always available to meet whatever needs we had. we felt safe with 24 hour security especially the friendly gentleman at night. We were able to leave and go do our tourist things and comeback late knowing that the room will be clean with fresh towels and everything safe.

The shower plus toilet is a little bit messy as water gets to be all over the show, but manageable

I loved Annie our host. She was charming and welcoming and really went the extra mile to assist us and make us feel at home. She is a real asset to your business. The security guard was so helpful to and always ready to lend a hand. The rooms clean and tidy and everything was exactly as it should be. HATS OFF TO YOU AND YOUR TEAM!!!!

The staff were friendly and really helpful . The rooms were big an spacious. The bed was big and comfortable. The shower had hot water which was great . It has a stove ,kettle and fridge. And I loved the fact that in was close to long street in Cape town .

The room didn't have pots or pans to cook .

Very Affordable and Annie was always available to meet our needs. 24 hour Security made us feel safe and especially gentleman at night made my kids feel safe.

The shower/toilet combo is a bit messy but manageable. The kids room had a bit of Cigarette smell which comes and goes

The privacy was perfect and their coffee is just what u need in the early morning. With out any hassle they very friendly and at the same time make you feel at home. Great staff I will definitely visit again
