failed to pay attention to detail. welcome letter in my room was addressed to someone else🫠 requested an extra blanket TWICE but never received it, even though it should’ve already been in the room per room guide book. spa phone went unanswered the entire time, didn’t get to make a booking

The tranquility and space were stunning. Going during the winter season was no stress because they had great heating in the rooms. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfast was great. We had a fine dining experience for my mother's birthday and it was wonderful and the staff were so thoughtful.

The room service food was a bit cold by the time it came to our room but great nonetheless.

The staff and the service was top tier 👌 everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The receptionist Busi is so friendly and helpful. Because I was a solo traveler, they kept on checking up on me, which made me feel more comfortable. Thanks to Lazarus(Lazi). The restaurant staff was also 👌 my birthday was extra special because of them. Thank you to everyone

I didn't like the fact that there's no shuttle service. The rooms are far from the reception and the parking lot so having to offload the luggage is a hassle and going for dinner I had to drive to the restaurant and it's a bit dark so a shuttle would make it easier. But overall, the experience wasn't so bad. I was in room 45 at night. There's a smell coming from the bathroom. I'm not sure if it's coming outside or not because it was clean.

Great dinner - we had the 3 course set menu Buffet breakfast was good; nice variety of breakfast favorites! Lovely well maintained gardens and grounds Pool area nice!

The bar fridge in the room (room 34) did not close properly, so we could not keep our drinks cold. Th aircon's temperature could not be changed.... not sure if the temperature is set centrally, or whether the remote was faulty. Signage not great: room numbers are small and only appear in the room door. We found the pool area by surprise, did not see any signage.

Breakfast wasn’t what we expected, I think more variety fish for breakfast would be great. Also, a separate pan and utensils for fried egg preparation in consideration of halal, Kosher and vegetarian guests. Everything else was amazing. The staff, was so special, Dimakatso (housekeeping) was an absolute pleasure. A suggestion for Spa, it would be great if slots could be kept available for Guest staying at the hotel. We decided to get a massage on Saturday (the beds were uncomfortable) and wanted to get a treat, but we’re fully booked. Perhaps this is something to look at. The staff was incredible! Please convey to them all

The spacious room was lovely The view of the dam was beautiful The various shower and bath options were impeccable. Our room was close to the parking area. The hiking trail was quite challenging and took up a good part of our day. This was very unexpected. The pool on our end was exceptional. The massages at the spa were great. The lady I had was very good and I even fell asleep. The breakfast was good

The TV was useless. Rather take it out and put a painting on that wall. Bring your own entertainment if possible. The dinner lacked options. We had the set menu on night one and never again. We had the buffet twice and then decided to go somewhere else to eat dinner because it was quite boring and not up to par.

The location is absolutely stunning and peaceful, all I could hear were the birds. The room was spacious with a lovely big tub and shower. While a tad expensive the food was good. Absolutely loved the fireplace, made the room so warm and cosy.

Had to change rooms my second night, so I had a few challenges with the TV set-up and a few things here and there. While I understand we aren't there to watch TV, they could at least have a few more options to watch or get Netflix. The beds were too soft for me, but each to their own.

Excellent location. Very comfortable rooms. I attended a function and the food was very tasty and well presented.

Breakfast could have been better but the biggest thing is the service from staff. If they’re not lethargic, they treat you as if they’re doing you a favour. When you have a request they treat you as if you are causing inconvenience. Service levels definitely not where I would expect for a 5 star establishment!!

Because the place was so busy with the race ...breakfast was caious The runners should have been catered for at the other rooms and the breakfast area should have been just for the residents We had to go get our own coffee...everyone was busy Otherwise it was all good
