Overall a nice location on the outskirts of Town. Handy for the N1. Nice in house dining option on a lovely stoop terrace. Great for a lazy dinner with no driving involved. Good breakfast and a quite big pool area with beds and shade. Good ac. Limited power during load shedding. Plenty of secure parking. Whole farm is very safe.

Walls are thin and you can hear adjoining rooms noises quite clearly. It’s a working fruit farm and it starts getting noisy from 7 am onwards. The local Rooster starts going at 4.30 am in the summer months. Not a place for a long lie in bed. The in house dining is expensive by SA standards but still ok for European visitors. The food was excellent but a very limited menu.

Great breakfast with everything you could possibly want. Served in a very pleasant indoor dining room / lounge because of the weather. Hot coffee and a very good selection of breads. Loved the heaters in the bedroom which really made it warm on a cold night. The lovely hosts welcomed us from the start and we were able to join them, their friends and family for the SA / NZ rugby match (we won!) It is a very special relaxing 'home from home' place to stay.

I would have liked an electric blanket on the bed but once in the bed it was warm and cosy.

The staff was exceptional, they offered help in various situations (Dan, thanks again for that open-air drive to the restaurant!). Everything was clean and in good condition, pool is great as is its bar :) Hundred years old oaks with squirrels and owls added charm.

The only thing - the hotel is located far from anything, Uber is often quite long to wait especially in the evening but you can always call the hotel, they can arrange a drive for you.

Our stay at the Leeuwenhof was such amazing. Tessa is a great host, also Stefan been always nice. Tessa is a warm-hearted host and does her best that u feel even more comfortable! She was doing her best, to make our stay even more cultural and give us a lot of tips. We just spend a night and this was our failure, we had to spend more night. Amazing rooms, good diner, perfect wine and also Mr. D (we cannot pronounce his name) was an amazing host! We felt very lucky to stay there an will be come back Soon.

We loved our stay at Leeuwen Hof. It was a great spot in terms of location and very easy to drive around the Winelands from there! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the self-catering cottages and it was perfect. There is a restaurant and bar too, which was lovely in the evenings to sit by the fire and enjoy a drink. The swimming pool was lovely and great to cool off from the hot weather during the day. Would def recommend and will visit again!

We stayed at the property 2 x nights with my wife and a kid and really enjoyed it! The property is beautiful with its historical buildings and lovely garden. Our accommodation was very comfortable. We were upgraded to a roomy cottage with a small kitchen and we loved it. There is also a restaurant on site that serves breakfast and dinner. Food was fantastic and the staff was great. We would definitely like to come back one day!

Peaceful and beautiful place to stay! We were in apartment (that included a private pool, -shared with other apartment), and it was super nice. It had a great outdoor seating area, no tresspassing from other guests, only some birds walked pass our terrace. Breakfast was nice with super fresh fruits and juice avaliable. The entire staff was very friendly and heartful. There is also a cute donkey and a pony that you can go and see. I would highly recommend this place!

We were upgraded for free and our room was lovely, it had everything we needed. The setting was also beautiful.

This was completely out of their control but there was pumping music coming from next door all night long into the next morning, which was a bit unfortunate!

We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. Such a lovely estate and brilliant staff, couldn't do enough for you and made you feel part of the family. The room and dining were top notch. Great escape from the busy cape town district 👌

We felt at home. Incredible relaxation. Great hosts. My wife and kids truly enjoyed the estate. Thank you, Dan, for the firefighting demonstration to my son, among many other details that made our stay so special. The restaurant and staff were top class. Amazing food. Best Christmas holiday for our family. We hope to return next year. Highly recommended.
