As a person that travels a lot i was very happy with Serena Guest house. DO not expect Sandton energy ! 10 min from Westgate Mall. I satyed in the Deluxe Double room it had a very nice Bath and Epic outside shower! :) internet was great i was actually able to stream a whole game without any problems. No Load sheddings and very friendly staff. place was clean and i got my special breakfast every day made for me.The Guest house Pool and Gardens Look Beautiful and is very well taken care of. i will recommend it to anyone as it is value for money and great stay.

Clean, quiet and comfortable location. Very serene just as the name implies. Nicely located with nearby access to everything. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, doing their best to make sure you're comfortable. Richard was helpful above and beyond with everything that I needed including very early morning departure. The housekeeping was great and kept the room clean.

My room had only a bathtub with a short spray hose to shower yourself while sitting in the tub, if you weren't taking an actual bath. I'm not sure if the other units have the same setup. The pool area looked lovely but it seemed that it was undergoing cleaning while I was there so I did not use.

Our stay at Serene Place exceeded our expectations! From the welcome by our host Jacob to the location, facilities, tranquility, safety, ample parking, etc. all great! Jacob went out of his way to make us feel welcome and taken care of. He even offered to help setting up braai facilities for one of the evenings so that we could have a very enjoyable braai and dinner on the patio with our group of friends. The facilities and quality of finishes all over are of a very high standard.

I discovered this hidden gem by accident and I and glad I did. From the moment you drive through the electric gates you are welcomed warmly by Jacob who without hesitation helped me with my luggage. Check in was easy and fast and arriving to the room was beautiful. The room was spacious, well lit and modern. Breakfast was deliciously cooked and they overall service was 5 Star worthy! Thank you Jacob and your team for making me feel absolutely welcomed. I will be back!

Lacking a coffee machine Bit confusing the pictures on some sites showed food, there is a breakfast room, a pool bar but none of this is used anymore?? No food is available or drinks Looks like facilities there but no longer used. As long as you know what to expect the place is great

The friendly check-in and support with my bags after a surgery left me uncomfortable. I enjoyed how he had put the heater on in my room, being the coldest day of the week recorded! I found the support staff extremely helpful and professional. The property is so well-maintained and I felt so safe. Will be back!

I liked how calming and tranquil it was. Whenever I asked for anything, it was immediately given. They’re very approachable and always assuring me of my safety and their availability to support however they can. From the ground staff (Evan’s greeting with a smile), Sharon and Christina (who were extremely friendly and lovely) to the chef (who helped me with my bags and anything else I needed). Would definitely stay again!

The care taker (Abraham) was so good to us and gave us an excellent service and ensuring we were well taken off, the place is also an ideal spot for a quick getaway from home in order to relax your mind with exquisite amenities and finished, spacious rooms

If the property can at least serve breakfast to limit going in and out of the property to go buy food and snack, or maybe if they can have a canteen.

I loved the location of the guesthouse , its far from the noisy crowd yet close to the amneties or necessary facilities. The garden at the guest house is breath taking very well maintained. Also Richard was very helpful, an outstanding host.

I think they need to work on the interior decoration of the rooms. Add mirrors in the bedroom like over dressing table or closet doors. Also, to add dstv as not all the guests might have Netflix subscription.
