We came in winter, so having heated flooring and really hot water with good pressure from the shower is a god-send. We loved the smart TV which allowed us to cast and watch shows on streaming services.

We love the place, below are suggestions for "good to haves" as added value to the guests: LIVING ROOM: - We could do with more chairs/ single sofas. - Have more hangers or hooks for our winter coats. - Be nice to have some cushions too. KITCHEN: - Good to provide plates that are microwave-friendly since there is a microwave. ENTRANCE AREA: - Will be nice to have a shoe rack - Hang full-length mirror as there are none in the apartment ROOM: - Provide an iron & ironing board

This hotel is located in a bustling area of Busan, with easy access to the subway. While the surrounding area is essentially a red-light district and the streets may not always be the cleanest, our stay was perfect, and we enjoyed every minute of it. It's evident that everything is thoughtfully arranged, and the staff genuinely care about the details. We’ve stayed at more expensive and higher-rated hotels before, but we’ve never felt as at home or well taken care of as we did here. The room is small but cleverly designed, with a place for everything, and the housekeeping staff made sure to leave toiletries at our door when we had the “Do Not Disturb” sign up. It was such a comfortable stay, and the location was walking distance to numerous restaurants, with an amazing coffee shop nearby called Ten Percent Coffee. A big thank you to everyone at this hotel for making it a perfect home away from home for us. One minor inconvenience to note: if you’re tight on time when checking out, avoid doing it too close to the check-out time, as the lift is small and gets crowded with guests trying to leave. When you get downstairs, there’s usually a line of people wanting to store their luggage, which can delay the check-out process.

The location was good, a couple of minutes to somyeon station so pretty easy to get around Busan. The room itself was very clean and the decor minimalist but very good. It definitely exceeded my expectations of a 2 star hotel. The hotel provided some small toiletries which was a nice surprise as most other hotels were charging extra for a toothbrush and Toothpaste. There was a small fridge in the room which was very convenient and the towels and slippers were changed daily even though I was only there for two nights. The shower pressure was great and even without a shower curtain the bathroom did not get super wet and slippery as described by the other comments. The room was quite large as well.

First rate staff. Ms Kim and Ms Yang went out of their way to help me with such care and kindness. The room was big, superbly clean, with plenty of hot water and the WiFi worked really well. Towels and bottles of water were replenished everyday by the excellent cleaning staff. With a very comfortable bed and finally, a hotel with decent pillows! The area is wonderful. Lots of life, colour and atmosphere. And with plenty of options to eat. Busan is a wonderful city and staying at the Hotel Kyungsung just made it that much more special. I cannot recommend this place highly enough :)

I could not find any fault at all with this hotel.

Very clean and comfortable. The hotel is located at the interconnection of multiple metro lines and buses. We took a taxi from there to Gimhae International Airport, there are also buses that go straight to the airport. The roof top view was incredible. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this hotel with our 3 children.

It was the first hotel in our trip in Korea (15 days) where the staff was a bit impersonal. And there was no real common place to eat outside food: there was no micro wave nor cutlery. The coffee was cold, and no staff to explain how to heat it.

The place was simple, but clean. Good location with lots of restaurants and gigantic food market. The place was wedged in between busy metropolitan area with a lot of high-rise buildings and department stores nearby, but despite this the place was very modernised, quiet, and private, there are plenty of restaurants nearby And street food stalls. Even though there is no laundry facility, there is a nice Coin Laundry very close. Right next to the train station, so very easy and central location to most other parts of Busan.

Using the heater/air-conditioner, was a bit tricky, maybe we just didn’t know how to operate it. But I’m sure if you asked the stuff they were more than happy to help.

It was very good value for the space and location. We were travelling as a family with a toddler and booked the suite. There wasn't much information on the website on the suites and when I enquired by email there was no response. However, on arrival I was pleasantly surprised by the size and amenities provided. It was similar to staying in an Airbnb apartment with the support of reception if we needed it.

A false fire alarm went off at 5am on our last day and the staff were unable to turn it off for 40 minutes. We evacuated and the stairwell was full of boxes, which was concerning.

A mix feeling for this place- First of all they were flexible and allow last minute refund (of one night out of three) as we missed the flight on the first day. But they insist to charge us 70k won just to check in a bit earlier. Some of the front desk were friendly and approachable but the staff waiting at the breakfast bar was a poker-face, or better to say not welcoming at all. It was just 2 nights stay we didn't need making of room, they were kind enough to furnish all the nessecities by hanging on the doorknob Location- it locates right at the pedestrian street where it's quiet and safe. 5 minutes walk to the metro.

The 'complimentary' breakfast could be just a bit more hearty.

We booked three rooms for 7 family members spanning three generations. The family room with the double bunk beds had a huge living space which worked really well as a meeting place for our family. It comes with a large private deck which was a real bonus. The other two bedrooms were functional but nothing to rave about.

The beds were really really hard. This was a problem for us softy Kiwi's everywhere we stayed in South Korea. The kitchen was decorative and not functional for cooking. It didn't even have a toaster.

The room was so clean, we felt comfortable putting our clothes on the floor. We actually really liked the design with the separating headboard wall and the desk/fridge space behind. The bathroom was huge (almost too big), but everything worked well and all the design elements of the hotel were so pretty. The 10th floor common area was also very comfortable to hang out in too.

If I had to complain about one thing, it would be the bathroom design in our room. Was big but didn't have space to put my clean clothes (the only racks were right above the toilet where the towels were stored). A little shelf, not above the toilet, would've been helpful.
