Mipo Oceanside Hotel

Very near to mipo station sky capsule. It is walkable. From my room, I can watch sunset and sunrise of Haeundae beach. So convenient. They provide light breakfast and muslim friendly. The staff very friendly, he even ask me if we need steam iron for our hijab. 😁 There are also free refreshment near the receptionist desk. So, if you need hot americano at midnight, no worries, just go at the refreshment area. Overall, i have wonderful stay here. Thank you!

Accessible to the Blueline Park and Busan X Sky (less than 2 mins walk to both) - PRIME location for good value of money! There were free breakfast included AND you could do your laundry, yes wash and dry! There is also a 7E, CU and Olive Young near by all less than 1 min walk!! Multiple restaurants around too! I stayed in the ocen view room and it truly was impressive! The view and sound of the waves soothes you ☺️

- Nice room well designed to fit in a smaller place having an electric storage within the furniture for the TV - Wonderful view right in front of the sea - Electric blackout curtains - TV with the standard channels; wifi was OK but was faster on our mobile connection so we didn't use it that much - Awesome rooftop where there's a DYI breakfast for the guests - Free water, ice, coffee, etc. at the lobby - Staff was friendly and helpful with good English - Blue line sky capsule and beach train 5min away - Sky X right next door - Tons of restaurants/stores in the vicinity

- Little bit far from the closest subway station (around 1km), buses typically between 500m and 700m - Haeundae is far from the city centre so getting around is time consuming since one-way trip to most of the other attractions takes around 1h. However I was aware when I booked this hotel, in fact is not a negative point for the hotel but rather for awareness

Perfect location. it’s at the end of Huendae Beach so it’s quiet yet walking distance to all the hustle bustle.

There is a sewerage smell in the room. During shower, water will wet the whole floor even though there is a shower screen. There are only a few staff running the hotel. When tried to enquirer about how to go to Centum City, staff just brush us off abruptly and just say “I don’t know”. No staff manning reception during off peak hrs so don’t expect any kind of assistance from front desk.

The location was perfect, a 15mn walk from line 2 subway station or a 5-7mn walk to a bus stop. The ocean view was amazing, breakfast was good (with the possibility of cooking yourself, and also a very nice terrasse to enjoy the sea and fresh air) and the staff was also very helpful and nice. Netflix was also a very nice plus haha I would come back again !

I couldnt find bathroom slippers but maybe I was just blind or inattentive (which happens all the time) otherwise there's nothing to complain about :)

Stay 3 nights: Staff is very friendly and helpful Good location near Haeundae blueline park, hotel very clean and comfortable you can laundry for free by yourself and the last interest thing is you can cook all kind of eggs in breakfast by yourself.

Location and view, very helpful staff. Convenient and free laundry facility so you can travel light. I almost forgot great value.

I expected a little more at breakfast perhaps, (greedy Brit), but it was enough to get you started for the day and good coffee enjoyed on the terrace with a great view.

We got the Oceanside view and what a magnificent treat it was! We had an unblocked sea view and could watch the sunset in the comfort of our bed. the facilities were clean, and very user friendly (we had an auto-flushing/warming toilet, which was a godsend in winter). The hotel servers were helpful. One concierge, Mr Kang Chan Jun in particular, went out of his way to secure us a booking at a popular local restaurant and even recommended us other places to eat. we’re grateful for the hospitality and would definitely revisit in future

The view was amazing. We loved the amenities provided and the bed was comfy.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. It was easy to find, right by the beach and had all the necessary little things that made our stay in Busan so memorable. Loved that it was just next to HaeunDae Beach. The vibe was great. Walking along the beach was glorious at night….there were buskers at night which made the walk even more interesting. Breakfast was simple but sufficient - the view from the terrace was to die for. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is also right next to the Blue Line Sky Capsule which is a must to visit. Eating places along the beachfront were plentiful and varied. The room that we got was fine for 2. A bit tight when we had the luggage on the floor but not so bad that you were tripping over the open luggage (which was the case in some places we had stayed in the past).

The only real drawback is the location (which coincidentally is also the plus point - right by the beach). It’s hard to get to with luggage (dragging it for 1km isn’t fun). The walk from JongDong station was straightforward enough (with Naver Maps) but it’s a fair way… it took us 15-20min. Not bad if the weather is good but had it been raining, it would’ve been a disaster.
