We stayed in Suite 1708 for 6 nights end of Oct. 22. Visiting our son who spends a period in Seoul at the university. The view there from 1708 on the 17th floor goes east across this part of the city and towards the park and ‚Hidden Garden‘ as a historic monument. We always went out to eat as there are lots of restaurants around. Nevertheless the quarter was really quiet at night and in the morning we just heard a faint and distant buzz. The bed was very comfortable and a real kingsize. Bathroom spotlessly clean. Separate (with good door to bedroom) living room with adjoining kitchen including stove, washing machine (!), dishwasher, water heater etc. About 50 square meters of apartment for the price of normally 25 m2 of hotel room. Very fair. TVs in living room and bedroom though we did never switch these on. Very good cleaning service and overall very friendly staff taking care of us. EG reception and even the in-house IT-officer. And: Seoul everywhere seemed extremely safe to us. And this corner of town certainly too. People in Seoul were extremely friendly and helping us along our touristy endeavors. Thank you

Definitely everything perfect

It was right next to the main street in Insadong and incredibly spacious. The entrance to the hotel is modern and staff were pretty friendly and spoke reasonable English. The 7-Eleven being just across the road was really handy for getting small items as needed.

The rooms are in need of some attention and repairs - for example, there was wallpaper ripped off the walls in several areas. Amenities were not provided for the second bathroom. Pillows were super flat and therefore not very comfortable. Some of the bed linens were reasonably stained, which was a bit offputting.

Spacious apartmend with large windows. Two large modern bathrooms. The swimmingpool was a great bonus for the children.

Could have been some extra cups, plates etc in the kitchen, it was a lot of dishwashing. We also missed the cleaning during the weekend, or at least the trashbins could have been emptied. We don't understand the rules about the number of people in the room. Why do we need a bed of her own for a oneyear-old, who is too little to sleep in a fullsize-bed?

great location, clean, quiet, comfortable 3 bedroom suite

No air conditioning from the first of October—and it was sweltering the whole month of October and even into November when we were there!! And they closed down all their services (spa, fitness center, concierge services, breakfast buffet was pared down to a minimum, they only left one entry to the hotel open and blocked up the rest) due to “Covid restrictions” which seemed like just an excuse to charge the same amount for a 4 star hotel without offering the value with services because it was October and November 2022 and Covid restrictions were very minimal all around the rest of the country. Also, the staff acted very indifferent to the hotel guests m—even though we were there for 2 months and they would know us by then.

Apartment was generously sized. Nice to have a separate bedroom with door. And the location is excellent - relatively quiet while having so many interesting places within walking distance.

A little difficult to reach from Seoul central station by metro with suitcases (lots of connecting passageways and staircases). Would recommend a taxi for this journey (was about 8,000 won from hotel to station). And note that taxis generally do not accept cash - use credit card or t-money.

We loved the location, in the heart of Insadong - a place full of history, cafés, galleries. We also very much appreciated the size of the appartment, which was very large and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a living room / kitchen and plenty of cupboard space. The appartment was clean and quiet. There is also an indoor swimming pool, and a kids' pool which was nice.

Just beside the MTR and coffee shop on the premises with a Korean restaurant as well.

Elevators still under maintenance after my stay a few monbths back. SHould be finished now.

Location was unbeatable. Neighbourhood is the right balance of accessibility and a level of local charm feel. We're happy that we're not in the middle of Myeongdong (where prices are very high). Insadong has some pricey places but there's a lot of the independent stores (not chains) to balance it out. The place was very clean, very spacious, great view, and staff is 5 stars! Very helpful and polite staff. Bathroom was enormous.

More pillows would be good, and having to go down to reset the access card (stayed for 5 nights), had to go down to reset the cards twice.

nice and safe location, you can reach 명동, 종로, 인사동 etc within 30-35 min on foot. quiet stay, high floor, good city view,most of employees were nice No housekeeping service during holidays, we didnt know, so while we were staying 3 nights, we didnt' get any service(you can get towels if you ask thou) Slippers can be changed as disposable ones. They didn't look clean and feel greasy wherever I wear. At least two comlimentary waters can be provided like other accomodations. It would be a lot cleaner if you remove the carpet in the living room. We found dirt and trash near sofa. Humidifier can be provided,(we asked but no providing) since hotel controls temperature, room was super dry coz of the heater, had to hang wet towels when sleeping.

Located next to a 7-11 that ran 24/7, Coffee Bean and restaurant downstairs, walkable distance to cultural spots (less than 500m) and Myeongdong shopping (1km). Service apartments were spacious and had more space than expected. The location felt comfortable and not crowded at all. Staff were attentive and quick to follow up requests of extra pillows, airport taxi booking and helping us with our travels. Hotel was always manned with 1 front desk staff and 1 security/door man. Definitely worth the price paid for.

Pillows are too soft and lumpy. Beds are a bit stiff and wobbly unlike most hotel memory foam types. Some fixtures like bedroom door knob were spoilt, some were missing the door lock. Some under-used areas were dusty such as behind the curtains of the single bedroom. Access cards are a bit hard to use, some slightly faulty and hard to scan the lift access. There is no housekeeping service on weekends.
