The hotel seems like motel and old fashion but overall is over my expectation (solo traveler). Staff was nice. Coffee and water are refillable and free. 20000won will be charged for early check-in no matter the room is empty booking. Not dangerous for walking alone at midnight. Location : it is very convenient to take off the Airport bus station No. 6011 (17000w) and a few minutes walk to the hotel, but please note that there's no estimate time from the hotel to airport. Therefore, Anguk Exit 4 is the nearest station but no elevator which is the way you can go to the airport via airport line. If you choose subway to the hotel, you may use the elevator at the charging exit before going to Exit 4 then cross the road at the red light intersection, continue walking straight to the next intersection, the hotel will be in the left small alley on right side. It is easy to visit Insadong, Hanok, Ikseondong, gyebok-palace, etc in 5-minute. ***Be aware that you may have too many changes between the stations and long walk between airport line and Anguk station and some stations has no elevator provided. Recommended to take Limousine airport bus to make your life more easier. Thing to improved is bathroom/bathtub cleanliness. I found black spots or dust in the bathtub.

I'm basing my rating on what this hotel is, which is a budget Korean hotel and not comparing this to a 5 star hotel stay. So based on that, this was a great stay. Staff are friendly. Location is great since you are right by many sites to visit, near trendy neighbourhoods and easy access to transport. Quiet to sleep at night. This was honestly one of the most clean places I've stayed in Korea. It seems that asking for clean sheets, clean towels, entire full-sized towels, fresh gowns, etc is a novelty for Korean places sometimes, but this place had it all. And clean and scrubbed bathroom as well. So if you don't mind the aesthetics and old furniture and carpets, this is definitely great value for money.

The hotel is old and could definitely use a face lift with new carpets, new wallpaper, new furniture, etc.

Great location, very kind personal in reception, free icy water for drinking You can walk 3 mins to a Hanbok rental shop and get a traditional Korean dress, to the Palace nearby.

The location is perfect, not far from metro station and touristic places, comfortable and clean. The hotel cost is quite cheap. There is value for money.

The hotel is quite old, lobby area is narrow there is no place to sit. Cleaning staff spoken noisy on phone long time via working in the room opposite my room.

Great value for the money. The room was well-equipped, hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo was provided. Each day when we requested cleaning, they gave us clean towels as well. All of the staff was friendly and helpful, even if they don't really speak English, they use translator. The location was worth everything, it was 2 minutes walk from Changdeokgung Palace, 10 minutes walk from Insadong Culture street and about 15-20 minutes walk from Gyeongbokgung Palace and Gwanghwamun Square. Anguk Subway Station and Jongno-3-ga Subway Station are also within 10 minutes walk. Convenient store is located 1 minute from the hotel.

I've stayed here twice now and the location is fantastic! It is in a quieter part of inner-seoul just a few minutes walk from insadong. It is aroung 5 minutes from anguk station and 7 minutes from jongro3ga station so it is very easy to get around the city! There's a bus stop right outside the hotel that has a lot of connections too! Some rooms even have a view of Changdeokgong palace - so that's nice!

I've stayed here twice and some rooms are better than others. My second stay had a very small room with some aged wallpaper but it was big enough for me and my partner! I forgot toothbrushes aren't included with the amenities.

Excellent value for money. It comes with everything you need - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, soap, bathrobe, fancy kbeauty toners and moisturizers (for both men and women) hair spray/gel, hairbrush. Hot water kettle with free instant coffee and tea bags in room, as well as a minifridge, desktop computer, and large TV. You can buy an extra toiletry kit at the reception for 1000 KRW (less than $1 USD) with a toothbrush and some other small things. Location is excellent. Additional free fresh brew coffee machine and bottled water as well as cold water refill machine in lobby. Location is excellent and price is great. I would totally stay here again and not bring anything but my toothbrush and some clothes since they already have everything you need in the room, so you can pack super light! Receptionist doesn't really speak english but uses google translate and is super friendly and tries his best.

Facilities are a little old looking and not the height of interior design, but very clean and functional and unbeatable for location and price. With the windows had regular curtains instead of those big clunky wooden shutter things on them.

Nice location, close to metro station, many restaurants and stores. Palace with gardens is just across the street as well as old traditional district. Hotel itself is very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. In the lobby coffee, water and microwave were provided. Room was clean with, quite specious with queen and single bed, fridge, tv and aircon. Bathroom not big but well equipped. You can tell everything is quite old but clean and working.

Air conditioning was working weirdly. Was cooling but not responding to set temperature.

The hotel corresponds to the combination of price and quality. Everything suited me. The man at the reception is always friendly, immediately uses a translator for questions that arise, calls a taxi and escorts me to the landing place, and upon departure he is also concerned about whether I know how to get to the airport. The room is cleaned daily, you can ask whether it is necessary or not. The hotel is not new, it hasn't been renovated for a long time, it's obvious. But the bed linen is clean, the towels are changed, the bathroom is sparkling clean, there are no smells. Air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer in full working order. Hygiene products, insect repellents, cosmetics are available in the room. Water is also placed in the refrigerator when cleaning. The location of the hotel is in a part of the city where you can reach some interesting attractions on foot. The metro is also within walking distance. The city's public transport is very well developed, the location is comfortable for me, I'm not afraid of traveling 40-50 minutes by metro if I need to go to other parts of the city. I don’t know how to find fault with little things, I prefer to enjoy my vacation. Thanks to the hotel for a comfortable time spent.

I was satisfied with everything, everything was expected, I didn’t find any unexpected details.

This neighbourhood is nothing wonderful, shaby and sometimes even dirty and bad smelling streets (something unusual in this very clean city) but the position of the hotel is unbeatable. Two three minutes from the royal palaces and 3-4 minutes on foot to the subway. Hundreds of restaurants in the area, small supermarkets with a limited offer. The polite receptionists do not speak Englsih but they use google translator very well. Free water and coffee in the reception area. quite a large room and a bathroom, good AC. If your sleeping is light, do not open the room window, you will hear the traffic. But when closed, it is OK. The beds quite hard but a few nights will do.
