Had my own room - space is a bit tight if you have a big luggage, but for 1 person it is manageable. Bed is rather big as well. Living room and toilets are shared, but there are multiple toilets (1 on each floor) so there are no complaints. Many amenities provided to ensure you have as pleasant a stay as possible. Laundry room is also provided and free of charge. Overall a very value-for-money accomodation to stay in for solo travellers, and very nicely situated in Insadong which is also very near 1 or 2 convenience stores and Anguk station.

Flies and mosquitoes were in my room every night even if I got rid of 1 or 2 each day.

I liked how quiet it was and how safe it felt. it was also very clean.

well, I didn’t realize that I had to go to the store next door to get in so that was a bit frustrating. as well, no one asked for payment so I assumed they would put it through. so now booking.com has been in touch with me and I have spent more time on my holidays trying to figure how I can pay them. it’s been a bit inconvenient.

Place was really stacked with many items and hosts were very helpful and kind. They recommended us a very nice BBQ place and helped us with anything we asked. Guesthouse is located next to big gallery and there are many restaurants and shops around on the Insadong street, so localization is very good. It is also close to Anguk Station and other attractions like Bukchon Hanok. Price was also very good for longer stay!

Our rooms were on the 5th floor and since guesthouse is located in old building, there is no elevator there. It may be a bit difficult to carry your lugagge to the higher floors if it’s too heavy.

I stayed at Yehadoye for the second time already. Compared with other guesthouses in the area Yehadoye is definitely a very good choice and good value for money. Rooms are small but very clean. The shared area (kitchen/ living room) has everything you need and from the window in the living room you have a really great view to the northern hills. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

Shared bathroom can be a problem if the guesthouse is booked out, I myself however never had to wait until I could take my shower.

Great location, warm room, nice bathrooms, plenty of toiletry and clean towels, kitchen with utensils, clean rooms. A good experience overall.

Room would need some renovation (painting, bed linen). There is no insulation, so noise from the other rooms can be clearly heard. No elevator, so you have to carry your bags to the 4th floor but the extremely nice owner helps.

Good facility, clean, quiet, comfortable bed, great location convenient to metro station.family owned friendly place, very kind and caring. Take shoes off at door keeps it clean, laundry on roof is free, a great value. I hope to return. Artsy shopping, restaurant, and cafe area. Check out nearby art galleries, perfect area of Seoul. Mountain View’s from kitchen very comfortable and highly recommended

Amazing location, nice common room for guests to use, nice host. You can use the kitchen or laundry, which is very convenient. We could also leave our luggage in the shop downstairs when we arrived early and didn't want to drag our backpacks around Seoul. Overall we liked our stay.

The room was really small, but it was okay, since we only slept there. Also mosquitoes, but they're problem everywhere in Korea.

Very well located near 3 palaces, in a very quiet and nice district. Not far from a subway station. I stayed 5 days and could do everything by feet. Very nice little room. Very nice common kitchen and sofa. As shown on pictures. Nice tenants. The kitchen has got everything to cook.

perhaps a too quiet district after 10 pm

Yehadoye Guesthouse is in the heart of Insadong and is very convenient for walking, shopping and seeing the sights. The hosts were warm and welcoming and were very accomodating. The room was just as promised. We were on the third floor and got a nice overveiw of the area, which we found very charming. If we get back to Insadong we'll stay here again.

Great location in Insadong. Very close to major attractions. Surrounded by restaurants. Close to mass transit. Room was small but perfectly adequate. Very comfortable bed. Hosts very nice. Other guests on my floor also very kind.

Be aware that rooms are up 3 flights of stairs and bathroom/shower facilities are in the hallway and shared. Don't book if you can't wrap your head around these facts (I was aware and had no issue with this.) The first two nights (of 3 nights total stay) the people on the floor above me partied all night. No joke. ALL NIGHT. Until 5:30 am. It was miserable. The hosts were apologetic but did not offer me anything to make up for the misery.
