We have been coming to Son Bou gardens for years and absolutely love the location and the apartments here! Gorgeous apartment as we were allocated the one we requested which we have stayed in for a few years, and this apartment is always really clean, bright and airy! It has a lovely kitchen/ lounge area and two balconies with seating. Bakery just round the corner that serves the most delicious breakfast and lunch treats, gift shop and supermarket also very close! Two lovely pool areas with bars attached. It always feels like a home from home, and I feel safe here travelling with my young daughter. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again, we visit in early May so not everything is in fully swing for the season, but we love seeing the locals get ready for the season and the beach is beautiful at this time of year

I was extremely glad that some one called me back when I arrived at the Son Bou Gardens reception office. The reception office was closed at the time. I do not remember the ladies name, but she was very nice and came quickly. She provided me with the keys and gave me a tour of the apartment. I arrived in the off season, so I expected minor problems. I would recommend Son Bou Gardens to other visitors. My advice for over seas visitors, call or send an email before you get there to confirm your reservation to make your arrival more smooth.

I was an American visitor. My biggest problem was dealing with my cell phone working in Spain. By changing my SIM card to a Spain cell phone provider, I lost all contact with my American email and phone number. It made it very difficult to make contact with property personal with the new Spain phone number. Suggest someone be at the reception desk the day visitors are do in with reservations.

We’ve stayed in one of the apartments in Son Bou about 6 times now. We love the peaceful environment, the gardens and the proximity to the wildlife area and other walks which allows us to bird spot -even if we don’t always have a car. This time my daughter and two grandchildren came-they loved the beach, rock pools and snorkelling. They loved hunting for tortoises in the Albufera-and although we didn’t spot any on our visit we did find lots of piglets with their mothers, cattle, and horses and a donkey which were happy to be petted. Our apartment was modern and we had a washing machine too which was a plus with kids!

Nothing. However just a small maintenance issue-the shutters on two windows need attention as they are difficult to close-they bind at the bottom as they’ve dropped. As you don’t have curtains it’s important that they are able to be closed for privacy and for sleeping.

Great location and value for money at the price paid.

They have a WhatsApp service for any issues which you do receive a reply too but no follow up seems to happen with the issue. First world problems in the scheme of things as it's a great location and a good resort, visit the bakery on the complex for great coffee at fantastic prices when you are used to the UK coffee shops.

When we arrived the women at the reception painted the bleakest of pictures about the resort. Telling us there was nothing opened, no supermarkets , restaurants or bars. However when we walked round there was bars, restaurants, a supermarket and the best bakery you will find! We met big "Bobby and Sandra" who were an absolute Geg! Then we met "Elsie and Dennis", and Big Dave the Spanish bin man! "Tommy the Roaster" was our alarm clock at 07.00. The weekend break was absolutely brilliant, no thanks to the receptionist! Definitely recommended!

Cleanliness and comfort, staff helped us with brocken remote control and was in touch via WhatsApp, place was very quiet in April, kitchen had all the utensils needed. Bus stop was very near and buses are easy to use

The beds were very hard No shops was open in the area in April apart from a local bakery Long walk to the beach (15 mins)

Great location in attractive set of apartments right by pool and with lovely views. Complex is tranquil and well maintained. Apartment is simply equipped but comfortable and enough space for 4 (2 adults 2 kids) with lovely outside area and everything we needed for our stay plus good free WiFi. Son Bou is a great base to explore the island from plus has good supermarket and shops. Staff were helpful and responsive.

Cozy apartment and milieu. Very calm in October. Good location for a group driving, because it was a short distance to everywhere. A really good bakery right next door.

At the end of October, Son Bou was really quiet and most of the restaurants were already closed for the winter, so the food supply was quite weak.

The location was great, the staff was nice, the appartements location is a quit place for vacation. We got extra clean towels in the middle of our stay.

The appartement furniture was a little bit sticky, the water in the bathroom sink had a really bad flow, no hanger in the bathroom.. could use a little renovation.

Very good price. Quiet. Good location right by the nature reserve. You can walk to Santa Tomas along the "cami de cavalls" route. There is a lovely bakery for breakfast 2 minutes away. The receptionist was very friendly and answered questions by WhatsApp at any hour.

You had to pay to use sunbeds by the pool. The apartment had no hand soap, or hairdryer, only one toilet paper. The lounge extremely basic.
