Wonderful unique family run hotel, wooden furniture, tons of fruit and veg shops, bakeries within a 30 second walk. Best of all, Enrique and Begonia are the nicest people, encouraging my feeble attempts to learn Spanish. Having now travelled through Andalusia I realize how great that Madrid place is. Highly recommend.
There is quite a bit of noise as cleaning cart runs through the hallway.

AC worked well, friendly, helpful staff. It's a budget place so if you are good with that the price is good for what you get.

Strangely, when returning to the property in the afternoon, I found the doors and windows of all the bedrooms opened. The owner mentioned that it was to ventilate the hotel. I trust the good intentions of the owner, but this action was not professional and made me feel that my stuff was not safe in my room.

A cute oldtimey hotel, a bit dilapidated but well-cared for. Bed sheets were super nice.
Grossly overpriced for what you get in terms of room space and facilities. WiFi was dead. We arrived to an empty reception and nobody answered the phones.

The room is extremely modest, basic, but good cleaning, good access to the nearest universities and to the airport.
At check-in, I was not even offered a remote control for the air conditioner, but it turns out that this is the only way to heat the hotel. When the temperature dropped below zero during the night, I caught a bad cold.
