I stayed at AC Marriott while I was attending a conference next door. The room was nice and comfortable for me. I wish that there had been a better place to keep my luggage (I don't unpack to the closet), but I was able to leave my bag open under my bed and just pull it out when needed. The staff could not have been nicer. It was about a 15 minute ride on the metro to the historic center of Barcelona. The only thing that was not excellent was the breakfast. For the price, the eggs could have been cooked to order and variety on a daily basis would have been nice.

We booked a room with a regular view but we got one with a view to the sea, that was nice. I really recommend the roof top bar, the view at night is beautiful. Unfortunately we couldnt use the pool because it was too cold, but it looked nice and clean. Even though the hotel is not right in the center of Barcelona, we really loved the location, because it's right next to a subway and a tram station and also a huge mall. The lobby is impressive, it made us feel super fancy when we walked in.

I would have appreciated some slippers because the floors were cold. The bed was not the best, but it was ok.

Upon arrival, the reception area of the hotel is huge and beautiful. The check in was flawless and the receptionist was friendly. Our room was on the 18th floor with seaview and we were even able to open up our window (unusual at such high floor). The room was spacious and had a coffee machine (Nespresso, what else); Bathroom was big enough with shower and bath (2 in 1). Breakfast was rather minimalistic with a very limited selection, so called due to Covid. Surprisingly, during the rest of our vacation more south, in hotels of the same Marriott chain, there always was a full buffet breakfast available. The other hotels provided individual grips to take your food. Here is where this hotel lost some points…despite the friendly personal. Another minus point was that the gym was closed, again…due to Covid, similar remark as above, other (Marriott) hotels did not follow this same protocol. There is a wonderful rooftop swimming pool but had limited sunbed capacity (due to Covid) but that was not too much of a problem for early birds like us 😊 The location of the hotel was perfect with easy subway connection to the city center. A last minus point is about the parking facilities. Parking rates are pretty high and entering the parking lot with somewhat of a bigger car is an adventure. In addition, the gate was not working well.

The room was somewhat basic for the price. Could improve in small but important touches. For example, a box of tissue in the room , and not only in bathroom. Complimentary water on a daily basis. Shower cap would be great and a sewing kit. And perhaps add at least one wall painting to give colour or contrast or warmth to the warm. I understand that’s personal preference, but it was lacking in interior design .

The room and facilities were good. The AC in the room was not controllable, we had to constantly ask the staff to switch the AC on or off either because it became too hot or too cold.

The breakfast was the same food everyday for a whole week. Last day they removed the kiwi fruit. Otherwise amazing food.

The room was excellent, exactly as described and in pictures. Spacious, comfortable, and clean. The staff was accommodating, they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was spotless, and I didn't even have to ask for extra towels or pillows as they were always provided.

Nothing, the stay was remarkable.

Very friendly staff. Nice double family room. Small a la carte choice but refined. Nice outside pool.

When in bed you can hear the noise of the subway through fundaments and inner wall even up to floor 15

I was not in my room for much but for the time I was, I enjoyed the comfort, had a great sleep, nice view and it was very quiet. All the facilities provided were appropriate for the reason for my stay. Most of all I loved the temperature of the room which helped me relax and sleep well.

This hotel has clean and luxurious rooms and friendly service from staff, pleasant environment and view outside the window, shopping center and hotel right in front of the hotel Everything was perfect, including the cheap taxis that were always waiting on the side of the road. My family was so happy to stay in this hotel rather than sightseeing in Barcelona. And the beach, which is 10 minutes' walk away, was cleaner than the Sitges, and it was beautiful to see fish underwater. I am very happy.

FANTASTIC suite! all just for me! The bathroom was amazing, with a bath and double shower. loved the Nespresso machine for that first espresso in thd morning. Then “walk-in closet” was a nice surprise, as were the fluffy white robes. The bed was HUGE a d super comfortable.

The showergel in the bathroom and shower had run out but was not refilled. Same thing with the Shampoo in the shower, so had to step out to the bath to get shampoo.
