hotel room was tidy and bed was made every day ,it was a very easy experience from checking in to checking out ,they were able to book taxis for us ,and a coffee machine was available to use for free which i thought was a great touch ,staff were also very helpful and nice

the only negative i can think of is that the walls are quite thin and so you can hear people talking next to your room and in the cooridoors and also doors opening and closing but it doesn’t disrupt your sleep , there was a small buffet to choose from for breakfast but it was good for what we needed ,however if you like a big breakfast this may not be for you

Location is great as your in the heart with the locals, away from tourist areas so feels more authentic. Room is clean (VERY CLEAN) the housekeeping will go above and beyond to make sure the room is looking it's best. Staff are lovely explaining the sights and always there for questions if needed

Room is a little loud as there's skaters regularly outside but that didn't bother me much. Also the hotel tries to combat this through earplugs. Maybe the doors have a better sound insulation would be ok.

Acta BCN 40 met all our expectations. Great Value for money hotel! The room was compact, but very cosy, clean, functional and comfortable! We were pleasantly surprised to find that there were toothbrushes and toothpaste, razor and shaving cream in addition to other bathroom products. The breakfast was nice! The location is great - very near to Plaza Cataluña and to the main metro lines. The stuff is great! I give them bonus points because even though we arrived at the hotel earlier than the time of check in, they gave us the room - we were very tired and that was great gester! Also we asked for a room with a balcony and they arranged this for us!

The hotel was exactly as described. It is a 5-minute walking distance from the metro, one of the busy streets of the city, and an Aldi nearby. The street of the hotel is also busy with a flow of people but not noisy at night, it has options of street food like kebab and hot dog. About the hotel room. It is very clean, new, and the bed itself was huge and super comfortable. They offer shampoo, body wash, a toothbrush, and a shaving kit. I recommend the hotel

The room was perfect. Bed really comfortable and fantastic bathroom. Breakfast, although not included in the price was available and perfectly adequate. Nice few tapas bars close to the hotel with really good prices. This hotel definitely deserves more than 2 stars.

The location is good but still requires a small bit of walking to get to the main thoroughfare and shopping areas It's close to a university so lots of night activity but that adds to the ambience really.

The hotel was lovely and modern and every staff member we met were so polite and friendly. We arrived early and got to leave our cases in a secure locker which was great! The room was absolutely spotless on arrival and then every day was cleaned to a high standard. I mentioned it was our anniversary before we arrived and in the room was a love heart cushion and light which was a lovely touch. The shower in the bathroom was amazing too with a good selection of free toiletries. Location couldn’t have been much better and I would recommend this hotel to anyone! :)

The view wasn’t the best as it just looked out to another building. It would be nice to have just a couple of English Chanel’s on the TV.

Orientation of the acccomodation is very good. The main areas in the centre can be easily accessable either by foot or public transport.

Stayed for 3 nights, depending on the street life it can be quite noizy. Although it is highlighted and ear plugs are offered, still slightly irritating. Nevertheless, we walked a lot every day so we fall asleep quite easily. (The problem comes when you wake up during the night)

We had a great time We really felt we got our money's worth. We came to Barcelona for 4 days , and this hotel was really our home base. We walked around the entire time and the placement of the hotel was so great because we walked a different direction each day and got to a new area of Barcelona that was really beautiful and interesting. The room was clean and they had cute amenities like a shaving kit and tooth brush 😊 We also had a balcony to let in some air and just take a step outside. It felt

The elevator was a bit slow and the tv was only in Spanish

The room we’ve stayed is very small, but very nice. For us it was perfect. The location is very good (central). A lot of restaurants nearby. The staff is very nice and friendly. They clean up our room daily. They serve also breakfast if you want. A big plus for the locker room (in case you need to put your baggages). I totally recommend it.

We stayed at 2nd floor and when you open the window all you see is another building, so you don’t have a lot of natural light. For us it wasn’t a problem, because we were out during the day.

Tiny but clean, I haven’t spend much time in the room..I have chosen it because of the awesome location - lot of great bars, restaurants, shops! Staff was super nice too. You can borrow umbrella for free, there is a toothbrush in the room, lockers for baggage..

You could here people walking on the hallway from the room quite loudly, so if you are a light sleeper and want to sleep in, could be an issue. But I personally didn’t mind.
