My stay at Antiga Casa Buenavista was nothing short of perfection. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly professional and kind staff, especially Miss Stefanny Coli, who took the time to explain every detail, guide me through the hotel’s facilities, and offer excellent recommendations on where to go and eat. Her attentiveness and genuine hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The room was immaculate, beautifully designed, and exceptionally comfortable. The attention to detail in cleanliness was remarkable, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location was also ideal—perfectly situated to explore the city while offering a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. One of the most delightful touches was the personalized notes and chocolates left in my room each day, offering to assist with anything I might need. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that truly made me feel valued as a guest. From the friendly and professional staff to the spotless rooms and perfect location, everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. Really Nothing.

Wonderful place, very quiet, clean and wonderful staff.

Pool seating is in the shade and not much in the way of hanging/ wardrobe space.

Location was great and hotel design was very unique. Staff was super helpful.

The pool. It's maybe 2 feet deep. I also asked for a few cava glasses and a cork screw and was directed to the restaurant. So i had to walk in the middle of a dinner service, and it was just awkward. Room size was fine for us, but we pack light. I would have been unhappy with the size of we had one more bag.

Bed comfort was incredible, luxurious is an understatement. The confiest bed we have ever slept in on holiday, the sheets where insanely lush and of the highest quality. The hotel seems to have been designed by leonardo da vinci. From the front entrance to your room and everything inbetween has been sculpted with the upmost care. The shower was so so good. I love me a rainforest shower. The enitre room was just exquisite. The intuitive light control on the walls where wicked! Being able to control the lights with such ease. Breakfast was 10/10. The option to have it bought to your room was amazing for us, and the breakfast variety and taste was excellent. The ommlettes where my favourite. Staff where 10/10 lovely helpful people. Very kind, genuine and always put a smile on your face when you are on your way out or in. Thank you all at Casa Antiga for the greatest hotel stay we have had as a couple in over 10 trips. There is no way we can stay anywhere else when we eventually will return to the magical Barcalona.

My recent stay at Antiga Casa Buenavista in Barcelona was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's location. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. Everything was within easy walking distance, and public transport was also readily accessible. Beyond the location, the hotel itself exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable; my room was spotless and well-maintained throughout my stay. The breakfast was another highlight. A delicious and varied spread was offered each morning, with fresh pastries, local cheeses, fruits, and made-to-order options. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the exceptional service and friendliness of the staff. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. From the reception desk to the breakfast area, everyone I encountered was warm and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend Antiga Casa Buenavista to anyone visiting Barcelona. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or a family, you'll appreciate the superb location, pristine cleanliness, delicious breakfast, and, above all, the outstanding hospitality of the staff.

The hotel was in a fantastic location, the ease of taxis straight outside the front of the hotel should you need them. The staff were super friendly and helped us plan our sightseeing and food choices. Breakfast is great, lots of choices and great coffee. The room was beautiful and easy to connect with the television and control the lighting and heat of the room at the touch of a few buttons. There was not much storage in the room so we did tend to live out of our cases. Shower was fab and toiletries replaced daily that were used. We did eat dinner in the restaurant, the waitress was really sweet and explained all the dishes and what complimented another dish. We had a fillet steak and fish of the day, monk fish and both we fantastic meals. We would return if we found ourselves in Barcelona again.

Was not keen on the toilet and shower set up, due to glass doors the lights illuminated the person using the facility. Very noisy late evening outside so did disturb the sleep.

Would definitely recommend this hotel and for sure will be back there one day! 1. The hotel is new. 2. Great restaurant and breakfast. 3. Very clean. 4. Love the style. 5. Location is perfect. 6. Space on the A floor is magnificent! 7. The Goya room has nice stairs near the window, plus a balcony, plus a black-out feature on the windows. But the most important is the team that works in this hotel — Gener, David, Susanna, and Cristina (sorry if I misspelled some of the names!:) — I'm super happy with all the support and advice you provided! Never had such an experience in 100+ hotels I stayed in before!

This hotel is fabulous. The rooms are immaculately clean and finished to a beautiful standard - they feel brand new actually. Our room faced a side street at the back of the hotel and the soundproofing is very good. The receptionists are all very friendly and helpful, whatever you need. The pool area is stunning and there was never more than 2 persons there during our stay so always space to lay out. Our only negative is that there is no gym but the team said they are working on this. I would love to stay here again!

A gym on-site would be preferable.

I save giving 9s and 10s for really special places I stay at. This is one of them, and it’s a place I will return if I go back to Barcelona in the future - I just wish they had a hotel in Madrid as I go there more often! Staff - they are very friendly, handle any questions you have and are very attentive (happy to give out things like plasters for cuts, extra shampoo etc.) While I didn’t have a chance to try the bar/restaurant, the decor looked amazing and it was popping off at night time so take that as a good sign. Hotel - the period features and maintenance of the building has been very well done and a lot of attention has been given to the rooms and public areas. The rooms a lovely and beds really comfortable. There’s a rooftop pool and lounge area which was nice, and also a working/lounge space which is extremely useful if you need to work/study/read or need somewhere to kill time for flights or trains after checking out. Location - only a 7-minute walk from the airport bus, and close to Universitat and Placa de Catalunya stations, you can get pretty much everything. While you are close to the action, the insulation/windows keep all noise out which is excellent for light sleepers. I really like that this is not a chain hotel and is very individualistic - if you are trying to decide between this and other hotels/AirBnBs, choose Antiga Casa!!

Loved the room. Loved the staff. So friendly, and they’re more or less a small group of people so we knew everyone by first name and they knew us. They made our stay so comfortable and welcoming. David at reception gave us incredible restaurant recommendations. They also helped us plan our day to day in Barcelona and honestly we cannot wait to go back and visit again in the same hotel. The rooms are so clean and they smell phenomenal. The breakfast was 10/10 delicious.
