The room was really clean and the air conditioner was working really well which was a blessing cuz it was hell hot in Barcelona. The facilities were good enough for a hostal. It is not a new building but it was totally fine. The location is perfect, from a walking distance from La Rambla, the main attractions and in front of a metro station. We could move easily through Barcelona.

We asked for a room with two single beds at the time of reservation whoch was made way before the date, and it was said that they could provide it. But when we got there, there were no rooms with two beds available. Also you can hear the peopl in the other rooms, so if you are a light sleepers you might have problems.

Hotel has 24 hour reception desk, which was great as we arrived very late. Employees were very kind and the hotel room was clean and pretty spacious. It had everything you need, with great water pressure, hot water and working heating. The location is amazing! We felt safe, as it was right next to a busy square full of people even in the night.We could walk everywhere from the hotel and also it was just couple of minutes away on foot from the Aerobus station. We booked a room with shared bathroom and to our surprise got a room with a private one. Thank you so much for this upgrade! We had a great stay and would return 😊

Easy to reach,close to the central and transportation hubs. AC in the room,shower gel and shampoo in the shared bathroom. Overall a good match for a more affordable accommodation.

There were sus stains on the bed covers,but we just take it off and put it in the corner. There were no hangers in the shared bathroom for the towels,just the sink or the toilet lid can be used as a holding place. The AC has not been cleaned in a while,because there were black stuff under it when it was operating. While we were there the room on the other side of the building had a makeover,there were shouting,drilling and knocks all over the walls during the day.

This hostel is a perfect choice for a couple days in the Centre of Barcelona if you don’t mind sharing the bathroom. We love walking, so we didn’t even take transport to get to the beach or Sagrada Familia, but if you prefer public transport there are a few bus stations around. And there is a direct bus route from the airport, which is very convenient. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable, with a queen-size bed, an open wardrobe, a sink with a mirror and a very nice balcony to have a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Toilets and showers were very clean. There is also a kitchen where you can make some tea or coffee anytime and keep your meals in the fridge.

This hotel had amazing value for money and has concentrated their efforts on areas that matter the most. The entrance and foyer areas may be plain and the layout odd, but the room was amazing. It was very small but it was perfectly clean, nicely bright and very modern and comfortable, especially the bed. The room had a fully customisable climate control system which was lovely after a day of exploring the city. My favourite bit was the ensuite. It was large and well lit and had a huge shower with one of the large rainfall style shower heads which was perfect for refreshing after a long day.

The layout and outside presentation of the hotel were a bit odd but considering the great price and the exceptional quality of the room it wasn't a burden to put up with it.

It is right next to the metro station, so there is easy public transport access. Also, the El Born district and other nice areas are within walking distance. Even though the bathroom is shared with some other rooms, it is kept very clean, just like the kitchen area.

The walls are super thin and we could hear the neighbour`s cuckoo clock the entire night. However, this just seems to be a common thing across the region. Additionally, since the toilet and the bathroom are in the same room and are shared among a few hostel rooms, sometimes we had to wait a few minutes, but it was never a long wait.

I am a fan of budget hotels, especially when I am expecting to be out and about a lot. I booked Hostel Delfos based on price and location. It was so easy to get the airport bus to the University stop and find the hotel a few minutes from the bus stop and extremely close to the metro station. It would have been easy to walk past the entrance door but I managed to spot it okay. The hotel seems to share a building with private apartments but there is a lift to take you to the first floor where you can check in. There is a shared kitchen area for guests with free tea and coffee provided and a fridge and microwave is available for guests to use. Ensuite facilities were fine. As others have said it is quite hard to regulate the water temperature in the shower but I managed to shower okay. I slept well in the bed. An air conditioning unit was provided. I didn't need to use it much but it seemed effective, though it was a little noisy. There were places nearby to eat out or buy food for self-catering. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again.

I think my room overlooked a courtyard but I couldn't see out of the shuttered windows. It might have been a bit claustrophobic for some people but I was okay with it. It's an old building so the decor is not the best but this is what I expect when I book a budget hotel. I don't have any serious problems to report.

It was such a pleasure to stay here. All the employees were kind and nice but Paula was someone amazing. She was the most precious soul i have ever seen and she was the princess Jasmine to my daughter. We just adored her. Moreover, the location of this place was just in the heart of everything. We only bought ticket for Aerobus (a round ticket for the airport) The bus has a stop on Pl. Universitat which is 1 or 2 min. walk to the hostel. Apart from that, we just walked whereever we wanted to go (la rambla, plaça Catalunya, plaça Espanya, La rambla, beach, and even to park güell) They cleaned the rooms everyday. Our room was clean and neat. There was a kitchen-like part in the hostal. You can use the coffee, tea, plates, cups, microwave etc. for free. If we go to Barcelona again, we will definitely stay in here and if you don’t search for a fancy place, i would strongly recommend this place as well. The only problem is the night noise due to the central location of the hostal. But my 5 y.o. Daughter slept tight and never bothered by the street noise.

Firstly, location. It's absolutely amazing. Airport transfer bus stop is nearby. Metro station is literally in front of the entrance door. On top of all these, main places of interest are absolutely reachable by foot. A lot of supermarkets around. Mercat de San Antoni is about 10 min walking. Secondly, there is a small kitchenett equipped good enough to have a breakfast. The hostel is located at the 2md and 3rd floors of the building with elevator (which was under renovation during our stay, but this wasn't a big issue for us). Even though it was rather populated during our days, we alwasy had our breakfast alone. Shower is good, pressure and water temperature are sufficient. Staff is very helpful, always friendly and ready to assist. So If you're looking not for a luxury stay, but for a convenient place for your touristic activities, this place is recommended.

We had street looking windows, the street is really very noize. We were informed in advance so we brought our ear plugs with us. However, if you are a sensitive sleeper, ask for the quite side of the building. It would have been nice to have a slightly more equipped shower room - a couple of extra hooks and a shelf under the mirror are highly desirable. Wine glasses would also be nice (there is a corkscrew). WiFi on the 3rd floor didn't work during our stay, but on the second floor it was good.

The place has an excellent location and we are very grateful for our stay here in Barcelona. Just a 10-minute walk from Plaza Catalunya. Everything was up to par - a large and wide bedroom, air conditioning, a terrace with a table and two chairs. Clean underwear. Reception staff kind, friendly and supportive. In the living room and dining room, everything is again on a level, easy use of the kitchen appliances, coffee, tea, refrigerator. Thank you!
