Practical hotel, excellent location, great shower, comfy bed.

Cleanliness of social areas can be improved. Tap water is undrinkable. A water dispenser could be put in place to avoid plastic bottles.

The location was absolutely amazing. It was very convenient to access the airport and touristic buses as it was near Plaza Catalunya, Casa Battlo, the Gothic Quarter and other tourist areas. The room is a little small but comfortable and modern. The hotel had a very nice wine theme.

Soundproofing could be a bit better, we could hear children laughing in a nearby courtyard from the window and sometimes when other guests close their doors from the hallway, but it wasn't too disturbing. The TV didn't really work well, but it was ok since we didnt really use it. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable and we didn't have much problems!

We travelled all the way from Paris, Nice to Barcelona, and the stay at Praktik Vinoteca was the best (also the least expensive) . Great location, walking distance to Rambla and Pg de Gracia. Staff are very nice and help too. We've never stayed at other hotels in Barcelona but the room turned out to be bigger than we had expected comparing with hotels that we stayed during the trip. The toilet and shower rooms are separated but functional. The terrace at the rear of the hotel lobby was also a highlight to chill out and for a glass of free wine.

Got some toilet smell in the room even with everything shut. Traffic sound from the street but overall tolerable at night.

The most important plus for us is the location of the hotel. Plaça Catalunya, from where buses leave for the airport, is a 10-15 minute walk. The room is small, if you are only going to spend the night in a hotel, a great option. There is also a small balcony with a beautiful view of the houses opposite. A glass of wine is served as a greeting, and you can enjoy it in the lobby or on the hotel's patio. The staff is responsive and pleasant. We did not use the hotel services, however there is a breakfast option, computers are freely available, there is a coffee machine on the ground floor and also a selection of wines (the interior is also dedicated to wines). We had an early flight and it's great that the reception is open 24/7.

On Saturday evening it was very noisy outside, possibly a party in the house across the street. This is not a disadvantage of the hotel, but if silence is important to you, ask for a room overlooking the hotel's patio. Also the floor was not very clean. These little things did not affect our stay, we will be happy to live here again. Barcelona is wonderful!

We had such a lovely time at Praktik Vinoteca. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and we even had a terrace with a fun view of bustling Barcelona streets. The location is central -- only a 12 minute walk to Plaza Catalunya and Casa Batlló. We also walked to Sagrada Familia and that only took 25 minutes. There are a lot of dining options nearby. We won't hesitate to book a room at Praktik Vinoteca if we go back to Barcelona. We are open to, however, trying the other hotels within the Praktik chain like Praktik Bakery, etc.

A good location - fairly central and near public transport, but still quiet. Budget room was well equipped and clean with a good shower. Buffet breakfast in a sunny room overlooking the courtyard garden was also good. Staff were very helpful (kindly lent me a phone charger as my adapter didn’t work) and the welcome drink was a nice touch. A good selection of wine to enjoy on the terrace! Very helpful booklet with local restaurants too. Would book here again.

Nothing to criticise!

This hotel was clean, air conditioning in rooms, rooms kept clean and tidy. Location was great for metros, shops, cafes etc. staff were very professional. Hotel was quiet at night so you could sleep. Staff do their best to get you the room you would like also. We booked a double/twin room and our preferences for twin beds overlooking the rear of the hotel were honoured. Very good experience. The breakfast options in the mornings could have been better.

Everything was fine, the accommodation is in the center of the city, so almost all attractions can be reached without any problems. The wine selection is extremely large, so if someone likes wine, I strongly recommend it.

The cleaning lady always came right when we were in the room, and she didn't come back when we had already left the room. So it was difficult to change the towels, and she didn't even change the sheets on the bed.

The hotel and room were very clean and modern. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was extremely small, especially for the price I paid. I was also charged for holding my luggage for a few hours after check out. It was only a euro, but that really felt like they were “nickel and diming” me. It’s a bit weird, especially when you pay that much for the hotel.

The room was in a nice quiet location on Floor 3 overlooking the patio. The staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the dining room and the breakfast team were friendly and helpful.

A few minor issues with the room - the hairdryer was broken, and the saloon doors inside the room were quite squeaky, which may have annoyed the other guests.
