the overall property was excellent in many ways. Room Size, Location, Breakfast was enormous and the quality was top notch….but most of all, the FRONT desk and Concierge and Breakfast area personnel… were most most helpful and Warm. special mention for Victor at the Front desk who was exceptional.

Room Cleaning and House Keeping was really really bad. in the 4 nights we stayed there, the room floor was not cleaned even once !! whatever dirt was present on day one on the floor, remained with us in the room till we checked out !

Great location to the Port, and it's right in the Gothic area. Close to lots of restaurants and La Rambla. Sensi Tapas is worth going to for dinner. Book online, or you may miss out. You have a time limit to eat, depending on the number of people in your group. The bed was very comfortable. Best night's sleep in Spain. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

There is a lot of graffiti around, which makes the area look a bit dodgy, but it's fine. Check the ingredients of the cocktails at the hotel before you commit. The pina colada was definitely not a pina colada.

One issue we had was that we booked a triple room and the extra bed was extremely uncomfortable. We stayed 3 nights. Finally, the 3rd night, one member of our group reserved another room so we could all be more comfortable. The other issue was that one day we were in a hurry to catch a tour and we were not allowed to take anything “to go” from the breakfast, for which we paid $21+ per person.

The property is beautiful and very cosmopolitan with nice seating areas and a small but great pool area hidden away in the building. The rooms were a decent size and has air conditioning and a large bathroom with shower as well as a window with a view of the pool area, a mini bar and kettle and complimentary water. The staff there are super attentive and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable including a late checkout and holding our bags for us when we arrived to early to check in. The waiter also carried our drinks from the bar to the pool just to be helpful and it seemed like they all work hard to make sure your stay is enjoyable!

Perfect Location for visiting the center of Barcellona. Couple of minutes by walk from most popular places. Very nice staff. Upper floor with swimming pool was not accessible because of seasonal mantainance activities. By the way it was February so it was difficult to stay outside.

I booked a room with balcony, from my point of view there is no difference from a standard room since the balcony it's not enjoyable due to limited space (less than 1 mt squared meter, 2 people cannot sit outside) and dirtiness (unluckly barcellona is full of pigeons). Furthermore, paying 21 euro for a breakfast is probably too expensive (expecially if you can go outside and wiithin 100 mt with same money you can get a lunch).

The hotel is perfectly located. Some days we didn't take a taxi and just walked from destination to destination because it was all so close (like 3-10 mins walk). Some places that it was easy to walk to were restaurants, La Rambla, the beach etc. and taxis to major attractions like the Sagrada was very cheap (8-10 euros). The hotel was safe and the workers were all so friendly and accommodating. It's also beside a grocery store and bakeries!

The property was clean and in a good location. The man who worked the desk in the evenings was super helpful and gave recommendations on places to eat and made our reservations as well as set up our taxi when needed. He was so incredibly helpful and nice.

The Catalonia Atocha in Madrid had spoiled us a bit so it seemed like we were getting much less for our money even though we paid more. Catalonia Atocha provided robes, slippers and had fruit infused water available before we went to our room.

We loved staying at this hotel. We were given a balcony room on the hotel entrance side of the building and it had a cute little balcony overlooking the street. Our room was ready early which was great since we were traveling and had luggage. The location was perfect. You can walk to the beach and La Rambla was very close with many shops and restaurants. It was the perfect starting spot for getting everywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a small incident where the iron left black marks on a shirt. We informed the staff and they were super nice and took the shirt to be cleaned. We would definitely stay there again if traveling to Barcelona.

Perfect location on the edge of the Gothic Quarter, across the street from the port. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. We had a large, clean room, completely blackout curtains, with an extremely comfortable bed and the air conditioning worked perfectly - a must in the hot Barcelona summer! The bathroom was a little dated in style but perfectly clean with a great power shower. The pool area was the perfect place to cool off at the end of a long day of sightseeing.
