The Hotel is beautifuly put together. Small and chic but not crowded or busy in any way. I visited from Sunday to Wednesday so I suspect the hotel was even quieter than usual. The location is at the end of an alley in the Gothic Quarter, but even late into the evening the area is busy and well lit. The Hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway, and about 10 minutes from the beach. Every hotel employee was pleasant and helpful, the room was immaculate and no detail overlooked. The blackout windows in the rooms are perfect and the bed was as good as I have ever slept in at a hotel. The rooftop is perfectly perched above the surrounding rooftops, and even though the plunge pool is not for swimming, it is a great place to spend a couple hours for a siesta or cocktail late in the afternoon.

At first I found it a bit odd that you leave the key with the front desk when you leave the hotel, though the hotel name and room number is on the key. However there was someone at the front desk 24/7 to greet me, they also always knew me by name wether or not I had met them. Love the attention to detail to make their guests feel welcome and attended to at all times.

I loved this hotel, it is exceptional. The hotel design and style is faultless. The staff are very helpful, friendly and professional. The rooftop terrace was really special. A great spot to have a drink after walking around the city. The breakfast was great, it was a lot of food. It was nice that everything in the mini bar is included in the price. I stayed at a well known 5 star property in Palma, Mallorca but I much preferred the Wittmore. The difference is that the vibe and atmosphere of the hotel was really relaxed and cool. That is all thanks to the staff.

The hotel was beautiful and very discreet which created the feeling of a much more authentic stay in The Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. The staff was outstanding and quickly took care of every request we made.

Concierge service - Francesco - excellent; attentive, always had suggestions and always followed-up. Location - right in the Gothic Quarter so super convenient, but off the hustle & bustle down a small lane. Room quality - modern fit out, super comfy beds (and great hard pillows!) and rooms have excellent sound proofing and blackout blinds. Fantastic night's sleep.

Housekeeping - to match the overall rating of the hotel (concierge/ location/ fit out etc) and the price point, housekeeping standard needs to be improved. Needs to be more attentive; replace used coffee cups/ bedside glasses and replenish drinking water. Bathroom - lighting was too dim - needs to be brighter

The Wittmore is simply stunning. From the moment you enter , you are made to feel like a VIP. It is exceptional service and the bespoke hotel is beautifully curated. From the wonderful front of house staff the hotels attention to detail is superb. Afternoon cake delivered to your room , complimentary G&T’s , it’s an experience I will. Not forget.

The room was dark with the shutters closed so super for sleeping! The pillows were dreamy soft. The staff were so friendly and the bar snacks delicious!

We were a little sad the roof top bar and the foyer bar were closed for a new years eve function when we got there. Our whole reason for treating ourselves to a lovely hotel on our stop over in Barcelona with bars and food was because we were prepared for restaurants and bars to be booked out in advance for new years eve so we thought we could at least celebrate the new year in our hotel. I just wish wed known in advance.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed to be asked on three occasions to pay our accommodation fee. We paid our three night stay in March, at the time of booking. This has never happened before. This hotel should have something on their system to indicate full payment.

Having booked a suite, we were pleasantly surprised by our room size and how spacious it was, nicely designed, comfortable and neat. We loved the roof terrace, which has a beautiful view and excellent service. The Mini bar was well stocked.

I would recommend they review the lights in the rooms, as at night time, the lights are not sufficient. As for the location of the hotel, unfortunately the car doesn't reach the front of the hotel and thus if you have heavy luggage, it might be a little tricky!

Beautiful little boutique hotel! Amazing location! Loads of restaurants and bars a few minutes away. Staff are great and very accommodating. Minibar was complimentary, so had some crisps , water etc which is always greatly appreciated.

Only complaint I have is the room we had was tiny. no dressing table or storage drawers BUT if you are only there for a few days, it really doesn't matter.
