It was in a very convenient location, stores nearby and all sightseeings and restaurants were in walking distance. We upgraded the room when we arrived, and having the fridge was an excellent idea. Balcony was also nice. The staff was welcoming and cleaned the room nicely. Recommend this for your stay in Barcelona, good price, great location.

It would have been nice to have some cutlery and maybe 2 plates. We had glasses, but had to improvise with other things. It was also a little hear-through so when someone was speaking loud or doing constructions you could sometimes hear it, but it was not that big of an issue, especially if you spend the day outside

The location of the accommodation is excellent - just a couple of minutes on foot from big metro stations and from Plaça Catalunya. The room was clean and comfy, and there was great sound insulation on the windows (the street is pretty busy and loud, but the moment you close the window you can hear almost nothing). The communication with the staff was also great, and we got detailed instructions on how to get into the building and hostel.

The only thing that was missing was a fridge, either in the room itself or in the common room. This would have been useful for water or to store food for breakfast overnight (like sandwiches or iced coffee).

This is superb hostel, located less than 10 min walk from Passeig de Gràcia (train+subway stations) for a very fair price. Since it is a one star hostel, don't expect to much, but in my opinion, rather it is in level with a two star hotel. It is located on the first floor of the building (with elevator) and having just a few rooms. For a couple of nights stay, room #8 has a just fine size. The bed was alright. First I felt it a bit soft compared to what I'm used to, but then had no problems at all to sleep well in it. The room was very quiet with window towards the inner yard, and a big, private terass. There is a table with two (a bit unstable) chairs, where we ate breakfast, in the morning sun. Nice!! There is a big TV screen and a refrigerator in the room, which otherwise has simple but practical furniture. For persons with allergy to dust it is important to know that there is NO carpeting at all in the room, which indeed was really clean. Bathroom is also OK. The whole facility is renewated around some (my guess) 5-10 years ago, situated in a building from late 19 century. Took a bit time to find out which of the 3 keys, (portal, hostel, room) goes to resp. door. A very nice and friendly english speaking guy works at the reception, which is only partly open during daytime. But it is possible to reach him on WhatsApp and get help in notime if you have any question or arrive outside reception hours. At the reception desk, you also find the water boiler and iron, which are free to borrow.

The garden furniture (specially chairs) are unstable. Just two AC-outlet (one at each bedside). Would be practical with one/two more for boiling tea or ironing, while the cellphones ar charging. Well, TV and refrigerator had their own outlet too, but I didn't bother me to try using those.

Everything was super good! The team was very kind and responsive. Whenever I had a question, they came back to me basically immediately. The staff took care of our room very well - just like in an expensive hotel! Furthermore, the location is super! All sightseeing attractions could be reached by foot easily, but there are all around countless bus stations, and two of the main metro stations as well. I really liked our stay here, and we will definitely return there!

Room was very large, clean, and had a balcony with a nice view. Private bathroom was amazing. Beds were comfortable. Room held a nice refrigerator where we could store food and beverages. Hostel is of very easy access with subway or taxi, and is in the heart of one of the best areas of Barcelona. Modern way of getting in the hostel in the afterhours, remotely with the phone. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved everything. Absolutely recommend the hostel, especially the room with private bathroom.

The location suited my needs. The facility was clean and had everything I needed for my type of traveling.

The only thing that was sub par about this place was that the bed. I need a softer bed because at my age I have aches and pains in my bones. The room could have had a table or desk in it but it had a little work space with chairs which was alright.

everything was really nice, the staff, the location, the fact that you have an enormous shower with body wash and shampoo.

Smelled like mold ..kind of really bad, ‘cuz we had a room without a window, we had one with just a backdoor with no ventilation aaand little creepy.Even our clothes and hair smelled like mold, but besides that everything was wonderful. So book a room with window or balcony ;)

the guests next door were a little loud at odd hours, even 5 am and It was a little difficult to sleep sometimes

The location of the property is just perfect: close to anything of interest in the city center and the stop for the airport bus (by foot 15 min to Plaza Cataluna). The room was spacious enough. Everything was clean when we arrived and the room was also cleaned daily. Our room had a very cute balcony, perfect for enjoying a coffee/drink. The staff was responsive, really friendly, and helpful and let us check-in a bit earlier. There's an option for self check-in/check-out which is nice and handy if you have flights at early/late hours.

The noise made by the metro was a bit uncomfortable in the beginning. It's not terrible overall, but until you get used to it, it can be a bit annoying.

Nothing to dislike but beware that the reception is only open a couple of hours a day. No tea/coffee making facilities but that is not unusual in Spain
