Booked it for the central position, turned out to be better than I could ever imagine. Near the main streets of Barcelona you will find this simple and nice Hostal equipped with everything you need for your stay. Our room was perfectly cleaned one to two times a day, the bed was comfortable and the host was super friendly. Just outside the place you will find the burstling heart of the city: Passeis de Gracia, Casa Batllo etc. and if you enjoy walking you can have long promenades and explore the city in every direction. Also, from the metro in Passeis de Gracia you can easily reach the airport either with the metro or with the train.

The only thing I didn't enjoyed was that our room's window opened on an intern courtyard so we didn't get any sunlight in the morning. But for the price we paid (extremely convenient) and since we didn't spend a lot of time in room (we were always visiting places) it wasn't a big deal. But it's probably a problem only for our room because other rooms have an extraordinary good lighting.

The room was very clean and the bathroom was actually very nice. The place was easy to find and the host for the hostel was helpful with information. The place was generally central and walkable to most tourist areas. WiFi was great. In general, it was the cheaper rooms we could find in Barcelona (which is still really expensive in general) but it was a good, clean room to stay in and it had everything you need.

The walls/windows were not sound proof so sometimes when there is someone next to the room outside (since it was only 1 story above ground), you could hear others. Otherwise, it was a great hostel to be in.

The location was amazing. It was one minute away from the bus stop and 5-10 minutes away from one of the biggest subway stations. You can go to the hotel without a transfer from the airport train. There were a lot of places to eat and the 24-hour supermarket around the hotel. The room has a well-working AC, big windows with a balcony, a hair dryer, a closet, and two sockets next to the bed. I would recommend this hotel to my friends for sure.

The hostel exceeded my expectations! Location-wise, it's great and within walking distance of the major attractions in Barcelona, and it has been very clean. Also, the hostel is more spacious than the images that were shown which was a pleasant surprise. The boro bar beneath the hostel has also been a really good tapas place. In an expensive city like Barcelona, this hostel has been a great value for the price. Highly recommend this place to anyone that would visit Barcelona in the near future.

You have to enter the hostel by pressing the door keys, its quite annoying if you have to enter a lot of times during the days, although the reception is usually always there to answer the call.

The place was great, quiet, perfect location, great price and very clean and comfortable. Only the wifi wasn’t working from our room. Only from the office. And we could have used a frigobar and a kettle. Other then that I highly recommend it!

the picture advertised on the booking website looked a bit dated, the real rooms were renovated rooms that had a clean modern style which was amazing as it exceeded our expectations!

everything was amazing!! truly no complaints. but perhaps it would be easier for people to check in if there were clear directions how to do so. it took a few minutes for my friend and I to realise we had to press the intercom for the receptionist (the loveliest lady) to ring us in. it wasn't the most explicit front door so to say

The receptionist lady was very helpful. The location is excellent to reach tourist destinations easily, the airport transfer bus.

The air-conditioning is loud in the room.

The locations is really good, Hostal is located in the centre in the Eixample area, in the calm neighborhood. You can reach to pretty much everything within 20 minutes: supermarkets, Plaza Catalunya, La Sagrada Familia, Gothic area and etc. The room and bathrooms were cleaned everyday, towels were renewed everyday if you wished. The room had AC so we could regulate the temperature by our own. The cleaning lady and the whole Hostal staff is super friendly and helpful. The staff followed all the safety regulations: they all were wearing masks and required the guests to wear them in common areas as well, which was great. We appreciated that the reception lady agreed to recieve our parcel even after our check-out. Great value for the money you pay for sure.

It would be great if there was a kettle in the room, because we were not able to boil water in the hostal. It also needs to be mentioned that there is no kitchen, only microwave, so anyone who is planning to live here should eat out. Also the water in the shower was getting colder by time when you are showering which was inconvenient loosing hot water in the middle of showering. Other than that perfect affordable stay in Barcelona!

Great location, near from the 5 main underground lines in Barcelona. The cleaning staff knocked the door everyday and asked for permission to clean, when my partner and I were out they entered and cleaned. Although we chose shared bathroom(clean aswell), the room had a sink and a dryer in the room, perfect for brushing your teeth and drink water without going out. Also, the hostel was in the first floor. Desk open 24h for real.

They couldn't give us a big bed for two for my partner and me, so they gave us two single beds. When we selected the room and we received the confirmation email it seemed ambiguous, it seemed like we were having a big bed. Although the desk was open 24h, the staff had sometimes a hard time understanding spanish, one of the two languages peolple speak in Catalonia.
