The location is great, close to tourist sites and the subway. The hostel is clean and organized. The staff are helpful and friendly, for example Sophia helped me a lot.

The bed is noisy. I had problems with my locker, which wasn't working, but Sophia helped me with another locker. This problem happens. But there is a lack of communication between the staff. I was in bed 7 and Sophia gave me locker 8 because of the problem with the locker in bed 7, but an uninformed employee came and said that I had the wrong locker, I had to explain the situation to him, I didn't like that part.

The place was in the center of Barcelona near plaza Catalunya!! It had stores and super market nearby so you can find anything you want! The stuff was very helpful and gave us tips for everything we wanted! It is a very nice and affordable solution for someone who wants to explore the city by walking! There is bus stop outside of the hostel so the public transportation is also available. It was amazing!!

The shower had a system for water that was a little confusing. The room is very small so for someone with a lot of luggage, it might be a problem.

The best thing about this place is definitely the location! 5 min by foot from Plaça de Catalunya, which also the place where you can get the aerobus back to the airport! Facilities all around, 24/7 supermarkets at 50m distance and Aldi at 4min. You can easily visit most of attraction by foot and enjoy the city. Very friendly people at the check-in and possibility to store your luggage after check-out for a very small price (6€ for 12h). Room was nice and bed sheets were clean. Wifi was also very well functional.

Even though I was in a mixed dormitory I was the only girl in my room. I was - indeed - aware that this was a possibility when I booked the room, it still made me feel at times uncomfortable. Also another thing that was slighlty unnoying is that the bathroom in the room has a window on the top part of the door. You can surely do not see anything so privacy wise is not a problem, however in the night when the light is the bathroom is on, the whole room can see it and that is not best..

I am Solo traveller and I stay in 4 bed dom as per me, the hostel is near to PI Great location we can walk all the attraction places or buy one day pass to use all the metro transport, Why, the hostel is near to Bus stop(1min) and 2mins from Urgell subway station. So it makes me more comfort to travel around Barcelona day and night moreover its good value for the money, convenient and daily cleaned.

Hence, the Hostel is near to main road, you will hear all type of sound(its acceptable for this price)

I only spent one night at the Urbany Hostel but had a good time. It has comfortable beds, and enough space to organise your things, good technology that makes everything easier, especially when you check in at night and are tired after a long journey. The staff working there are friendly and helpful. It is close to the centre but at the same time it is on the way to Camp Nou, a half hour walk, and I could finally go there. Some time before I had booked a hostel very close to the stadium just to visit it, attracted by the cube beds and the white curtains, but from the pictures I had seen I didn't realise how low the ceiling was, I almost touched it with my hand, and I'm not tall. The result was that I slept very badly and woke up feeling sick, really couldn't breathe, I had to give up my programme. On top of that everything was in a poor state of repair. I don't know how such accommodations can stay open today. Who knows how many people like me remain dissatisfied, they just make money when there are good matches and people want to stay in nearby hostels.

I liked location, wifi connection, Sangria at the bar and the Italian speaking bartender!

I would like to suggest marking somewhere that there is another hostel in Barcelona with almost similar name. Me and my friend firstly arrived there and then had to take another transport to reach this one. And other tourists from the hostel had the same experience. And also shower in the rooms were not comfy, but anyway, it was a good room.

Wow what a Hostel! We had an amazing stay here! There were 24 of us in the group and everything was brilliant. The staff were really friendly and helpful and there were great deals on for food and drink. the facilities were great especially the pool table and table tennis table. The rooms were basic but exactly what we wanted, a good shower and a comfy bed. Would strongly recommend a stay in this place for any solo or group traveller.

The location is perfect, next to Plaza Universitat. The staff was so friendly and there is an amazing common room with games and big sofas to chill. Good bar service and great breakfast too!

I missed a little curtain or screen in beds for more privacy in the common bedrooms.

I had a 4 person room booked for myself and a couple friends, and overall it's alright but quite small and a bit basic. The one thing though that is really not good, is the automatic light. It must've sounded like a good idea in theory, but no one needs a motion detection light that turns on when you get up (or just move your hand outside the bed). There is no risk of not finding the way to the bathroom in this tiny room and everyone has a small bedside lamp that would suffice.

Lack of proper bed sheets, the shower wasn’t too clean, overall - the hostel could be cleaned more often. Also, the beds and the doors squeak, which can be a con, when people are coming back to the hostel late at night.
