The staff were all really friendly. The young man who checked us in indulged our attempts at speaking Spanish (which we are currently learning) with patience and good humour! The room was perfectly fine. The air conditioning was on for us when we arrived and was put on each day when the room was cleaned so it was a cool sanctuary to return to after a hot day walking around Barcelona. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a couple of vending machines in the reception area. The area was great with a couple of small bars/restaurants right outside and many more within easy walking distance. Also close to a couple of metro stops to get you anywhere in the city.

The towels were changed daily even if they didn't need to be, and there didn't seem to be an option to keep them. They were also a little on the thin side so not terribly absorbent! This is being very picky though - on the whole a great place to stay in Barcelona.

We loved the manager and we loved our room, sevsecond stay in room. Love the location.

We did not like the two women at reception who were basically rude and lied. My husband asked to use a restroom as we were checking in and the dark haired one with glasses told us it was out of order-not true. The blonde, Louina was equally unfriendly. Neither of these women could smile or be friendly towards us...shame on them. The male manager was who made us feel welcome.

Staff is great. Yullia provided us with exceptional customer service. She went out of her way to help us with our needs, answered our questions in detail and even arranged our tour to Monserrat! It was convenient to be able to get tickets to tour attractions right at the front desk. The hotel is surrounded by a variety of eateries, convenient stores and there’s a laundromat right across the street.

I enjoyed the breakfast every morning, for the hotel being a center location to the city it was quite during the nights I was surprised

The rooms are not quite sound prove, you can here the adjacent rooms but the neighbors were respectful to keep the noise level down at night.

The location could not be better: close to all the action but not too close to the noise of it. There are plenty of restaurants around and even a laundromat (that serves beer!) across the street.

The checkin process was a bit tedious, and the clerk "accepted" all the terms and conditions on the screen for me and then asked me to sign. I was tired, so I did, but I hope I didn't sign my life away...

We somehow got upgraded so if you can, get the bigger room with city view (ours was 6th floor). We had 2 large suitcases and the room had enough space. The staff were heplful just unfortunate that you have to pay for locker. Location wise is great but could be closer to the metro.

The lift needs some refurbishment and it does not hurt to ensure the soap are properly filled.

The hotel is ideally located in the city centre, but off the main thoroughfares. It's a short walk from the Sagrada familia and other interesting locations. Staff at check in were lovely and super helpful. We only had breakfast at the hotel once but it was a good selection and tasty! The shower in our room had better pressure than my shower at home!

We had booked a superior room, but it did seem just a fraction small for two people. But it was fine as it was comfortable and very clean!

Everything is there, but not luxury. At the end, I had to wait in hotel after check out - they have nice silent corner, and it was great. Possible to walk to city center; however, easy to be lost on way to beach from hotel.

Loud people in room next to mine (but this is up to guests...). And may be the very same breakfast for four days - but it was basic and fine. I did not like coffee (because I really enjoy when coffee is good...)

This was not my first stay, nor my last one! The reception staff is very friendly, this is one of my favourite hotels in Barcelona, it has it all for me: cleanliness, location, staff who make you feel at home, comfortable beds,...

I wish I could get there every week-end of my life

This room had a lovely view of the crosswalk and all of its charm (balconies, shops, pedestrians). The hotel was within walking distance of things we wanted to see and do. The room and the bathroom were clean and inviting.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like. It was all very comfortable for our stay.
