Good location and easy to walk everywhere. Clean and comfortable room with space for my belongings and a table and chairs. Cute little balcony with seats overlooking the narrow streets. Historic building with 24 hour reception and secure entrance. Clean sheets and plenty of clean towels. There was lots to see in the area and plenty of eateries and food shops nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful.Despite the central and sometimes noisy location I would still recommend this Pension.

Shower was small with a curtain instead of a screen which made washing difficult. The shower curtain enveloped me and water spilled onto the floor. This shower needs a proper screen. The area is noisy but then so is most of Barcelona....and on one occasion the bins were emptied around 3 am! I could sleep with the street noise but another resident was shouting at her phone and I could hear clearly through the wall.

Great location right to the Rambla. There is McDonald’s near and Aldi store. The room was spacious, there is a sink inside it, an open wardrobe and a table . Linen and towels are included, warm covers, some shower gels for 1 use. They have a fridge and a microwave in common area, you can have a coffee or tea in the lobby. We had one shower with toilet and a separate toilet in our wing for about 4-5 rooms. It was enough for us didn’t have any difficulties with lines for the facilities. The interior is kind of vintage old and shabby but we were fine with it. The building is old, there was a central heater which didn’t work in our visit - don’t know about winter time. We also could leave our luggage in the luggage room for free after check out. Early check in was a plus.

They didn’t clean the room during the stay and our waste basket wasn’t cleaned as well. Just to let know if you expect any service like it.

Excellent location for our purposes - we just wanted to spend a couple of nights in Barcelona to break up our journey to Lloret de Mar further up the coast. Perfect for transport from the airport as the Aerobus drops you off at Plaça de Catalunya and then we hopped on the Rodalies train R1 direct to Blanes (we took a taxi to Lloret because we were loaded up with luggage, but there are busses). We've been to Barcelona plenty of times before, so we weren't fussed about visiting everything, but it was nice being able to walk to the Sagrada Familia and have a spot of lunch. It's about 30 minutes walk to the beach, but tons of shops and restaurants near the accommodation.

While some people may love being so close to La Rambla for the nightlife, it was incredibly busy because of it being nearly Christmas. It was impossible to walk two metres without physically bumping into people.

The price for that kind of location, being in the exact center in Barcelona, 1 minute away from the famous street La Rambla, surrounded by tons of shops, markets, and restaurants, for that kind of price, in the peak season in Barcelona, around end of July, was perfect. What I also liked was the kind staff, the lobby where you can make your self drinks. The internet was also very good.

What I did not like is that our room did not look exactly as the pictures that are posted. probably the best rooms they have are the ones posted, but I did not mind it, since everything else was good.

Everything was better than I expected from the reviews here. Price was good. The location is right in the city center and perfect for example if you need to catch a night bus from the main square (Plaza Catalunya) in the middle of the night to the airport when no train and metro lines are running. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, toilet good, everything was clean. The cleaning lady was super nice!

Soundproofing was the only thing that left something more to wish for. We could hear loud and clear what the neighbouring guests were talking.

The location was great, so close to everything we wanted to do. The room was spacious with a lovely table and chairs. The room and toilets were all spotless and kept clean during our stay. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable and spacious. For the price this hostel was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Barcelona. We opted for the shared bathroom option which worked out perfectly, there are 3 bathrooms on the floor we stayed so they were never occupied when we wanted to go. The shower has really strong pressure and good temperature. Overall everything was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay.

Very central - walking distance to everything. Staff was friendly and willing to help Rooms are basic and I had shared facilities in the corridoor but this was exactly what I was looking for as a solo traveller just wanting a place to crash at night.

Lots of stairs with suitcases might be a concern for certain travellers I expect front facing rooms are noisy at night as it is very central, mine was on back side and no serious issues

The location is in the heart of where you want to be in Barcelona! I was a little worried that because of where it is that it would be noisy at night, but that was never a problem! Super Mario at the front desk was really helpful and accommodating, and the housekeeper was very nice as well. And the Metro is really close and easy to use….loved it all!

The staff was amazing, I had to change my check in time 3 times because of delays and there was no problems anytime I had to change it, the room was perfect, bed was comfy, balcony that looked out the front, only 2min walk to the city centre, I have nothing bad to say about this place, I will definitely be back soon.

I really liked the location. The room was cozy and we loved it. It's more than we expected. It was clean too. The staff was very friendly and nice.

The only thing I didn't like were some of the guests who apparently didn't know how to use the toilet and they missed it. Also there were people who didn't push the syphon.
