Everything is perfect. Location is the best in Barcelona, if you are tourist. The hotel is 5m from Placa Catalunya, and the supermarket is in the front of hotel, and near you have so many caffees, restaurants, bus and metro station and so important Aerobus from airport which station is in front of the hotel. All attractions are near by foot, except Nou Camp. Staff is amazing, so friendly and helpful. They gave us comfortable room without extra money. Cleanliness is more than 10!!! Minibar is great. They change towels every day, and we had two towels sooo big and two regular. Room has bluetooth music speakers in the AC system. Bathroom is new and modern, and room is designed and all the hotel too. For the first time we can say that value for money is 10/10! Defininitely we will stay here again soon!

Location excellent, right in the city center next to the Plaza Catalunya, 5 minutes walk to Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. Near to all great shops and restaurants. Station situated on the Plaza Catalunya for the metro to reach all the main attractions and the trains direct to the coast (Costa Brava). Barcelona Airport Bus to both terminals also stops there too. We stayed in their executive rooms with a quality comfy kingsize bed and wonderful fluffy pillows - slept like a dream. The rain shower was wonderful. Breakfast absolutely delicious and definitely worth having. Great value for money and good way to start your day. All the staff are really friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a city break.

We loved everything about this hotel. The only thing it does not have is a hotel bar or spa facilities, if you are looking for that in a hotel. We did not miss this at all!

The hotel is located next to pretty much everything - and with that, it provides a place for nice and quiet rest. The ventilation and air conditioning is superb, we felt really comfortable there even at the peak of the heat wave. The staff is super attentive and they are doing everything possible to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The room was modern, clean and well-equipped. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was of high quality. Overall, one of the best hotel stays we had so far.

The only thing we could complain about was that the hotel is located right between two buildings that are being reconstructed and thus the view choices are limited to a busy street with lots of traffic, a back wall of a large shopping mall or two construction sites. If the view from the window is important for you, this hotel might not suit you well. However, the sound insulation quality was exceptionally high and we didn't experience much (if any) inconvenience.

I stayed at Room Mate Pau Barcelona for a week. The breakfast was fantastic and included all my favorites from Dublin, Ireland, like scrambled eggs, beans, toast, and boiled eggs. In addition to that, there were pastries, various types of bread, coffee, teas, hot chocolate, as well as a selection of meats and cheeses. The hotel is conveniently located next to La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter. My favorite ice cream place, Manna, which had the best pistachio flavor I've ever tasted. The hotel's proximity to shops was great, and whenever I needed to cool down, the hotel was nearby, offering a refreshing cold water drink at reception. The staff were all incredibly cheerful, making the hotel a joy to stay at. The breakfast staff were attentive and always had smiles on their faces. I believe they all deserve a bonus for their exceptional service. Their teamwork created an atmosphere where it felt like they all owned the hotel as they put so much effort in to make you feel comfortable. The rooms were excellent, equipped with a fridge, safe, kettle, and I particularly loved the walk-in shower. A big thank you to the Room Mate Pau Hotel and its staff for making my stay so wonderful!

the property has a wonderful location, however, the best part was the staff, from the front desk to the room staff to the breakfast staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. the staff are happy and look like they love what they do! Their accessibility in and out, elevators and room was excellent for anyone with a motor disability/wheelchair usage.

not much to not like, a little dark in the lobby but there are no outside windows so they do the best they can, perhaps having an open bar in the late afternoon outside on their dining level would be a great touch for their guest, inexpensive drinks with a couple of finger foods available, allows guests to come back and relax and perhaps even mingle with other guests.

Location is perfect - super central and very convenient for the aerobus from the airport. Not noisy despite being basically in Plaça Catalunya! Friendly staff. Breakfast is ok, although I would have expected a bit more variety. Room very clean.

The wc area and the shower are separated by the main room by 2 doors (while the sink is basically in the room) - not questioning the idea but rather the fact that the air vacuum is not active in these small areas and therefore they get very humid and might not smell Good.

A great hotel with a very original style and unusual rooms. We got room level upgrade for free, and we are very grateful. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay in the very center of the city. The bus from the airport stops right at this hotel, which makes its location even more convenient to visit. The room was clean and comfortable, the cosmetics in the room were excellent. The breakfast was varied and delicious, in addition to standard eggs and sausages, various types of snacks, cheeses, ham, vegetables and fruits, fresh bread and sweets, as well as several types of natural juices and coffee were offered.

Great breakfast, right in the city center for traveling is easy. Close to all main tourist attractions and not too far from the beach. Lots of good restaurants around and close to shopping areas. Lovely staff that’s always open to giving tourism advice and recommendations.

The furniture above the bed was quite dusty and seemed to have been neglected during cleanings. On some days when we put the “clean” sign, our room was not cleaned, whereas they came in when we asked them not to.

the property is located in an excellent position next to Las Ramblas with lots of bars and restaurants close by. we stayed in a suite which had a huge comfy bed, large terrace with views across Barcelona and a jacuzzi ( which was great in the colder evenings). the room was spotless and had all amenities. what makes this hotel stand out is the service the staff offer, from Alex and his colleagues on reception to the breakfast which is excellent. everyone wants you to have a great stay and they go out of their way t9 help. we asked for recommendations for local restaurants and all were excellent. we celebrated my partners 50th and they decorated the room with balloons , provided champagne which was fantastic. a great vacation we would certainly book again.

Quirky decor, with the most amazingly comfortable beds, great air con and good choice of breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great location.

Room was slightly smaller than expected (but didn’t impact too much as only there for 2 nights). Bathroom was very small and not at all sound-proofed!!! Good to have separate sink and mirror though outside of bathroom for ease of 2 people getting ready. Also not keen on row of large bins right outside front door but not fault of hotel just not great visually.
