Due to personal reasons I traveled alone, it’s my first time ever holidaying on my own, beautiful hotel, I felt so safe, key to main door, double bolt on apartment door plus a lock on the inside, patio had a deadbolt so I felt extremely secure, every staff member I met where every welcoming, answered questions I had about the area, perfect location, supermarket, beach and dining on the door step, all restaurants did take away which was brilliant, the 7km beach walk was beautiful every morning, beds very comfortable

The hotel was spotless and they cleaned the room and changed the linen twice a week. The room has everything you would need and plenty of plates, cutlery, pots and pans etc. There were lots of free beds by the pool and there was always someone about if you have any questions. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent position with lots of small food shops and restaurants around, the food was great in most of them. There is a larger supermarket just up the road and a beautiful park right next door which is worth a visit. The beach is just across the road and the views from the rooms is to die for. Over all this hotel is a 10 for me and I will definitely stay again when I am in the area. Jose and Sante are very nice hosts, being very friendly and helpful and will do anything to make your stay comfortable.

The hotel is a bit dated however that did not dampen my stay here. I really have nothing bad to say.

Although the property is basic it was extremely clean and have everything we needed for a self catering trip including kettle, toaster and microwave oven and two ring hob. Juan the manager was extremely friendly and helpful and the location was fantastic, there is a supermarket just under the building that is about 50% cheaper than the one across the road, lots of shops and restaurants nearby and the bus stop is across the road were we took trips to Torremolinos, Mijas, Fuengirola for as little as 2 euros each.

I really can’t give a negative review except to say the shower rail needs replacing as the shower is so strong which is wonderful the current older for the shower head needs replacing with a long bar type holder.

This was my third stay at Sunny Beach and, as before, it was well suited to my individual needs. Great balcony views, spacious and well equipped studio, friendly and helpful staff (but, at the same time, not intrusive), within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the marina.

The lack of AC hasn't been a problem for me but, in hotter weather, it might be. Similarly, the dated design of the hotel and some of the facilities haven't been problems for me - indeed, I find they add "character" - but it might not suit guests looking for something newer.

The apartment was so central within 2 min walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets bars and public transport. All the balconies overlook the beach and it's quite a view. The rooms are a bit dated, but really clean and have everything you need for a great self-catering holiday, including really, really comfortable beds. My husband and I enjoyed it so much we've booked again for a week in April 2024. Staff are really helpful, pleasant and try to meet your requirements. We asked for a low floor and got a room on the 1st floor. All floors are serviced by two lifts. I would certainly recommend this aparthotel. Great value for money too.

Nothing really.

This was my second stay (March and October, so presumably neither peak season) and my mainly positive experiences were very similar - helpful but unobtrusive staff; great seafront balcony views; fair sized and well equipped studio; laid back atmosphere; close to shops and restaurants; decent sized and clean pool with ample sunbeds; suitable for self catering and eating out.

For whatever reason, the hot plates were slow (but the microwave was a useful alternative); kitchen work space was limited. Some points which I didn't have a problem with but others might: cooling fan but no AC; the building and equipment are dated and worn, so it's mostly clean but not shiny, new or spotless.

The Hotel owner made us so welcome, even had flowers that I had asked him to get as a favour in the room ready on arrival, so made my wife's arrival even more special. Plus he had put some beers and water in the fridge too. So wonderful. Then onto the balcony, good size, and what a view, unspoilt vista of the Sea, Marina and beach. 10 out of 10. Beds were comfy, kitchen basic, but all you need. Cleaners very lovely and helpful too. Will be back again.

Only thing I could come up with as a dislike were the squeek off the sliding doors, I used sun tan spray which fixed it, but others didn't, so occasional squeek, but no biggy..

Great staff, rooms are basic but clean and the view from every room is stunning. The beds are so comfortable and there is everything you need for a good self-catering holiday.. Sunny Beach aparthotel is only a 2 minute walk from supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and bars. Paloma Park is nearby too. What a beautiful place to walk round. You can get a bus nearby to Malaga, Torremolinos, Benalmadena Marina and Fuengirola. We love Sunny Beach and it's great value for money.

Fantastic location with balcony and view overlooking sea. Located in a quiet area and a short 10 minute stroll to popular Marina. Plenty of local restaurants. If you plan on staying at pool, its quiet, small with approx. 30 beds and 15 umbrella's however not an issue as most people head across the road to the beach. It was really hot while we visited, we were in room 30 which also had a side window which created much needed breeze as hotel does not have aircon, they do however have fans provided. The hotels view overlooks archelogical site and a single story visitor centre, so the views from 2nd floor up will always be uninterrupted. Walk to beach 2 minute stroll. Rooms cleaned every 2 to 3 days and overall a lovely visit. Really comfortable beds. Great budget hotel, kitchen area bit worn but really clean. Will definately return.

No aircon although fan provided.

The location is perfect, close to everything: restaurants, beach, park just behind the hotel. The bus stops are close if you wish to go somewhere like cable cars or Castillo de Colomares, etc. Each room has a balcony and the view is stunning! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the balcony and of cause the sea just in front of you any time! The view is priceless! The room is basic, which was expectable, but clean. A little kitchenette area with small fridge, kettle, microwave, little cooker, plates/pans/cutlery/ cups/glasses. The great little pool. We spent a lot of time there. Friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely come back there if in the area. Thank you to Jose and his lovely family!

Just some minor things: 1. It would be great if at least small amount of washing liquid to clean the dishes and a little sponge provided…It shouldn’t cost a lot and could be split in small dispensers across the hotel rooms, but will make a difference. 2. The Wi-Fi was very poor in the room. I guess the higher your room is, the connection is poorer. The Wi-Fi near the pool was great though… Maybe fitting Wi-Fi extenders on each floor (or at least on the higher floors) will fix the issue.
