Location was fantastic, the breakfast was excellent and the hotel was spotless. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

The sunbeds were not adjustable and were uncomfortable so we went to the beach every day. The rooms were noisey, conversations and TV in other rooms could be heard at any hour of the day or night.

It was close to seafront restaurants bars.

Coming out the main front door the bins were situated right beside hotel that smelt really bad,, we also saw a rat beside them. I think they should remove bins from the front and maybe put them in carpark out of sight. Not a good first impression

Traditional Spanish Hotel,very clean,quiet location,bus stop 5 minutes,beach 5 minutes,supermarket 15 minutes English speaking Reception. Restaurant hours very flexible. Excellent twin beds Room not overlooked. Shower good.

Breakfast good but overall the food let the Hotel down. No Coffee at Dinner but drinks reasonably priced. No Hotel or resort information available in room had to ask. Bedroom and aircon good but tea/coffee not replenished daily. Only one small bin. Mini fridge poor. Limited guest entertainment.

Location is perfect. Staff are exceptional Food is fine. Cleanest hotel I ever stayed in.

Rooms, just a little small. We had a child, so 3 beds in the room. Luggage room available but no courtesy shower.

We had a great time at the hotel it is very clean All the staff are very helpful and friendly especially the girls at the bar and the staff in the restaurant they all helped us try out our Spanish and with their friendly chat helped to make our holiday special. The reception staff was very helpful too when my husband had he's wallet stolen on the train. This was our 2nd year coming to this hotel as a party of 5 and will be looking forward to next year

There is a good variety of food to choose from which we all enjoyed, It would have been nice to have a choice of continental meats at lunch.

Hotel balmoral is it is near the end of Benalmadena it is about 10 mins walk away from the windmill roundabout , and also a 10 min walk to nearest supermarket Mercadona the rooms adequate enough for 2 people however the cleaners servicing the rooms on a daily basis are a bit lacking in the service to clean the room we where there for 5 nights and cleaners just do a basic tidy up of the room I was not wanting my room cleaned from top to bottom but I did expect that my room would be a reasonable standard on my return especially when I left it clean and tidy !! We made our beds we didn’t leave the room untidy in any way and also did not require fresh towels every day we did expect a decent level of service that we paid for expect was for the tea and coffee to be replinished with 2 coffee sachets and 2 tea bags and a bit of sugar , on our first day we had 4 coffee sachets , 2 tea bags and milk and sugar , ( we had 3 cups of coffee that day and 1 cup of tea ) on day 2 tea and coffee not replinished , on day 3 ( still not replinished ) we had drank the last coffee sachet and last tea bag that was left , on day 4 we had run out of tea and coffee sachets I had to actually turn the coffee and tea container upside down so that it would be refilled ( which it was ) with 1 coffee sachet and 1 tea bag ) they somehow knew we where leaving on day 5 lol it might be trivial to some people reading this but when you wake up in the morning the first thing you want is a tea or coffee

More attention to coffee and tea tray being replinished especially when the room is in a very reasonable condition and needs minimal servicing by cleaning staff

Great value for money hotel, in the best location, close to the beach. The park, the old town and the train station are only a 10-minute walk away. They kindly paid attention to my gluten-free meal! We could leave our luggage in the hotel's luggage room before check-in and after check-out, beach towels at the reception for a deposit. The cleanliness is adequate, the bed is comfortable, the view from the terrace is nice, the staff is kind, the bar is good. Overall, it was a good choice!

We have stayed in more hotels in Benalmadena, so we can compare. The half board is not bad, but I think the selection could be wider. Unfortunately, the coffee and fruit juices are not very good either…

Situated literally 2min walk to the sea front. Yes its behind a row of mixed restaurants but very quiet. Plenty of sun loungers with a bar and swimming pool. It looks to be mainly a Spanish older person's hotel not your 18-30 type but please don't let that puf you off as everyone I've met have been so warm and welcoming. As I went Bed only I can't comment on the dining but the restaurant looked full most meal times. There is free WiFi also 2 pay as you use terminals if needed along with a printer. The room I had 101 was near to the lifts and the stairway so any noise came from there. Basic room clean and usable. Bathroom consists, bath, over shower and bidet sink and a hairdryer. Large room with floor to ceiling wardrobes built in safe ( key probably available from reception at a cost ). Balcony a nice size for 2 with 2 chairs and table. Beds are yeah OK not the best but slept on worse but clean. Small tv on the wall with 6 English channels BBC 1, 2 NEWS, CBBC, ITV1 and channel 5. ( 11 12 13 14 15 16) Internet works really well without any lag. Cash point in the lobby ( don't know if it charges I have a pre-paid card and enough cash. Payment for the room is by card and as I have a pre -payment card with euros on it if makes keeping track of finances very easy. Check out by 12, there is a room to keep bags safe till your ready to leave. All reception staff speak English. The big question .. "Would I come again ? " Absolutely yes

No anti slip mat for the bath / shower

Clean rooms, very close to the beach, shops and points of interest. ☹️ Bathrooms left behind in time (I don't know if it's like that in the whole hotel, but it was like that in both rooms received), separate faucets for hot and cold water, operated by turning instead of modern flaps, not exactly hygienic and disturbing when adjusting the water temperature. I requested two adjoining rooms at the reception when I arrived and previously by message on Booking but they were not receptive to the request.

Clean hotel and pool area. Room serviced every day. Breakfast nice with good selection. Bar food and drinks very reasonably priced. Staff friendly.

Room was very tight for a triple. Huge crack on the concrete of the balcony floor surround which made us quite nervous as we were located on the seventh floor! Didn't feel comfortable sitting out on the balcony for that reason. Mini fridge was not included in the room price, had to pay an additional 7 euro per night for this.
