Exceptionally clean, very friendly staff , location is great. And value for money. Room is serviced daily if required by good staff. 24hr reception, where quite correctly, identity is politely checked before handing over keys when returning to the hotel.

Not a lot to dislike, I had booked an economy single room, but owing to a slight mix up I ended up with a 3 bedded room with a small balcony overlooking outside of the hotel. No facilities in room for self-catering, I asked for a kettle and was provided with one, so had my tea and coffee. Breakfast ( Continental ) is provided in bar/cafe area.

The location was perfect, right on the main street, 3 mins from the train station. The hotel has been newly renovated and the lobby/bar/restaurant area was lovely - super comfy little sofa and chairs. Great fresh coffee served at breakfast (inlcuding decaf) and flexible options. They kindly allowed me to have my almond milk for the coffee and toasted my gluten free bread for breakfast. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They lent me a brand new hair dryer and knife for lemon. The bed was super comfy, pillow memory foam and amazing, the air con silent and new, the fan a great addition. The shower was excellent and the room had all you needed! Would well recommend this newly renovated hotel - great value for money, comfy nights sleep, and a lovely sanctuary to come back to between your trips out, with the friendliest of staff!

The hollow centre of the hotel carries and amplifies sounds, so you hear every time someone opens or closes their room door and the key/locks are loud. This is the only downside and can be a disturbance to light sleepers.

Really liked it here, overall pleasant staff. Rooms were basic but really clean and comfortable, fresh towels every day. Location wise, only a few minutes from the train station but a good 20 minutes walk to the beach. However, there is a bus stop by the station that goes to the front. Stayed here for a week and was really good. Would come back here for sure.

Nothing much, it was more or less what I was expecting from other reviews.

Good location if you want to live in central Arroyo - walking distance everywhere. Good beds, clean, well maintained, friendly staff. We had a room with balcony to the pedastrian zone & morning sun which we did not expect & which was great.

They are currently renovating the bar / cafeteria, should be done in the next couple of weeks - was done at good hours, we were not disturbed by the works & there many alternatives to have a coffee around, but would of course have been better if cafeteria was available.

The hostel is located in the downtown, close to everything. Price-value ratio is excellent. Clean room and bathroom, kind personals.

The sound isolation of the room was non existent. Could hear every steps from the corridor and from upstairs. Unfortunately the dining area in the hostel was under reconstruction so I had to have the breakfast other places. The nice place opened after 8am, food, coffee, juice was excellent. But the other place where I could have the breakfast before 8am was a cheap pub with poor food etc.

really clean, I stayed for 2 nights and my room was fully cleaned each morning. For a small room I was impressed it had air con AND a ceiling fan. very close to train station and although a basic breakfast (toast/coffee/juice) it was really nice and the staff were lovely. also it’s more of a mini hotel than a hostel - other guests seemed to be older couples when I visited.

there wasn’t anything that I didn’t like personally. my single room didn’t have an external window, only one into the internal courtyard but that didn’t bother me however some people might disagree

I was pleasantly surprised with my room brilliant power shower. Comfortable bed. I loved the way my toiletries were replenished each day. And my room cleaned each day. I never thought this would happen in a 2 star hostel. I booked for a balcony and had the choice of 2 chairs excellent. I loved my keys being held at reception which was 24 hours. No heavy fob, and keys to carry around no lost keys! Always at Hostal

I didn't like the coat hangers. My clothes kept falling off, and the hangers kept falling off the rail so frustrating. Not much to dislike other than that really

We loved everything about the accommodation. This was our 5th or 6th visit. Always spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. Obviously my review on 21/20/21 was the wrong way round. Everything was exceptional and we were never disappointed- I do apologise for my mistake in giving a bad review, it was not intended xxx

The bar/café was closed for renovation. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been great, wouldn't have minded paying a bit extra for this

Absolutely brilliant place, its NOT a four star hotel, with fancy bedding and gadgets etc, but its traditional terracotta tiled flooring and spotlessly clean rooms and pristine laundered sheets plus exceptionally friendly and kind staff are outstanding....also location is perfect in the centre of arroyo de la miel near the station surrounded by bars and restaurants and boutique shops...everything there. And 24 hr reception plus small bar and lovely outside terrace, even if you arrive at 2am the reception staff will organise drinks or coffee for you. Will def be back.

All good, some noise in the mornings with the road sweeper at 7am and people coming and going for breakfast but that is normal and it was not excessive, the windows in the rooms are pretty good at lowering any noise outside.

First of all i want to thank all the lovely staff for their kindness, help and professionalism. ++ the location is just great : 3 min to the train station and the bus stop. ++clean room and great room cleaning service (thanks to all the beautiful ladies) ++ the view from our room was amazing
