We had a lovely 2 nights celebrating my husbands birthday :) The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and the rooms are super comfortable. The spa is fantastic and pool area and bar are incredible (watching the storks in their huge nests are a bonus). The staff were really helpful and friendly, and breakfast was great. Location is really good if you want time at the hotel just relaxing, with the beautiful town of Cáceres just a short drive away. Definitely recommend!

Not a negative - but we didn’t know there were two outdoor pools at first. We went to the smaller one near the spa and were pretty disappointed, until we discovered the big main pool with chiringuito that’s a little hidden round the corner. Maybe our fault, but perhaps signage could be a little clearer. Also a small thing, the shower was a little disappointing (just a shower head over the bath). We upgraded our room and expected the bathroom to be a bit more luxurious.

This hotel is just beautiful! It is our second time staying here and we’re even more taken with it this time. The outdoor pool is fabulous and perfect for a relax after a long day! The pool bar serve tasty food and drinks and the staff are very friendly. We stop here on our drive from the UK to Portugal with our dog and they are great with pets! They even left her a bed, treat and food bowls in the room. To our surprise dogs are allowed at the pool bar and restaurant too which is great! The rooms are spacious , comfortable and have a feel of luxury. The staff are excellent too and spoke amazing English which made up for our lack of Spanish- so thank you. We would very much like to come back to spend a whole weekend rather than a quick over night stop!

Wonderful hotel. Perfect location just off the motorway as we booked it as travelling through Spain to Portugal. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great choice at breakfast. Good size room and bathroom. Spa a welcome treat after all the driving. About 10 minutes drive to Caceres the old town is amazing, visit if you can; we got a taxi in from the hotel and had tapas restaurant recommended from the hotel reception which was right in the old town (where they were filming Game of Thrones!) and it was fantastic.

Although pet friendly the charge of 30€ is a little steep- think this should have included a bed and treats as read in other guest comments but we didn’t get anything for our dog even though I’d informed them at the time of booking we would have our small dog with us.

We were traveling from Santander to Conil with our dog and wanted a stop over. Location for us was ideal as it was just off the motorway, quite and secluded. Plenty of grounds to take the dog for a walk. Nice touch that the hotel provided a bed, bowl and chew for the dog. Spa facilities lovely. Great sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and indoor pool. Had a light supper which was very good. Service excellent. Please note that the hotel is located outside of Caceres so you would need to drive into the town if you wanted to see it. We were just passing through and had not planned to see Caceres so location was ideal. Will definitely return.

Its a very big and comfortable place. Almost like a resort. Everyone was super-friendly, and the room was very good. A lot of small details, like some snacks to eat, some water available for free as well as some glasses to drink it. The Spa was not huge, but good enough, as a few hosts got in at every turn, which made it be not crowded.

Everything was very good. Just to say something, the hotel is like a small village itself, and you find it a little bit overwhelming at fist, untill you start understanding where is what. But this is not something bad by itself.

we liked everything about this property. It is a very nicely done, 17th-century old farmhouse but made modern and still keeping the traditional style. To walk around the gardens and see how life used to be in the 17th century with keeping a farm is lovely. The staff are excellent here and we rate it 10 out of 10 and will stop here again without doubt. It’s just off the main route between Portugal and Spain. Well worth spending a little extra money for a five star hotel and you get what you pay for. very relaxing in the spa after a long journey. The two outside swimming pools are also lovely.

Great breakfast, great shower, beautiful room, great bed. Converted palacio to a hotel full of atmosphere. Lovely place to stay.

The reason we booked here was mainly because of the spa. So quite disappointing that it was closed because of constructions. Hotelstaff told us that we got a message about this upfront - and I honestly do think they really thought so - but we never received anything. Checked app, mail, booking-chat more than once, but never found it. Maybe system should be checked if all guests recieve this (als non-Spanish for example). So this part unfortunate, but still definitely recommand hotel.

Lovely room and bed. Expensive extra for the dog but they left a bed, a food bowl, and a dog treat which was a lovely touch. Loved the spa so relaxing it was part of the stay and made it more special.

There was an extra green area beside the pool I feel they could have made a small space for pet owners away from everyone but space to lie down and enjoy the sun with your pet. We were limited to the bar only which was not the case in other properties especially as you were paying extra.

Location was perfect to stay on our way from southern Spain to Santander. It was only a short taxi ride to the old town of Caceres. Room was palacial (it was a suite) and had everything you need. Optional secure underground parking that we chose to use.

There was a celebration of some sort with loud music that started at midnight and went on to 3am, we didn't get much sleep! Probably just unlucky and we would stay there again. Food in the cafeteria was poor, in particular the pizza was probably the worst ever experienced. Breakfast was fine.

The hotel is large and although fully booked, did not feel crowded. The large outdoor pool area is beautiful. We had a very good meal at the outdoor pool bar as the sun set. Room was at just the right temperature for a good nights sleep. Very conveniently located off the main road, with secure underground parking. Dogs welcome - the bed and bowl waiting for us was a very nice touch.

Only the coffee in the morning- just Nespresso- would have been nice to have a proper Spanish cafe con lèche.
