Cerro del Sol was freshly renovated and had a cozy feeling. The room was large, warm, and welcoming with a nice terrace and a view of the beautiful mountains. You could hear the birds singing. The Manager Gustavo and staff (Juanjo and another person) were also exceptional! They went above and beyond to help us secure ski passes to Sierra Nevada. They also printed out our tickets for the Alhambra, and set up breakfast really early in the morning, so that we could hit the slopes right when the ski resort opened. One notable item: the hotel is perfectly located if you want to ski and also spend time in Granada. Easy to park in their private lot, and then you can either drive 10 minutes into the city or take bus 33 from around the corner, it takes around 15-20 minutes. The bus leaves every 15 minutes and you simply walk down the hill about 7 min to the stop. The drive to the Sierra Nevada is about 35 minutes, and worth it. Hotels at the ski resort are like factories, worn and noisy, like airport hotels. And expensive too! So we were so happy to stay away from the hulabaloo at the top of the mountain and instead retreat to Cerro del Sol to rest-

Silly thing- I would only recommend that a couple of nice rugs could be placed on the floor to make the room even more cozy.

We liked our room with the view of the mountains. The staff were great and really friendly and helpful - especially at reception where we had maps printed . He ordered us a taxi which took us directly to the best view point and then we walked back to the hotel along the river .

Excellent location (at least with car), within residential area, few minutes to Ronda Sur ("highway"), 10 mins to Alhambra. Very friendly staff.

Nice interior. Beautiful view on mountains (superior room). Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, can be taken in and outside. Sufficient free car parking place available.

Safe in room too small for a laptop. Our room was a little noisy because it was located next to reception area. Missed toilet brush and tissue box in bathroom. We suggest to apply environmental friendly refillable shampoo, soup flacons etc. in stead of the small disposable plastic items.

We had a wonderful time here! The views towards the mountains are spectacular and greet you every morning. Breakfast was delicious and always included some typical Spanish elements. Lots of veggie options for breakfast and also dinner if you decide to eat at their restaurant. Beds are comfy and everything was sparkling clean. The hotel staff/ owners went above and beyond to make us comfortable and we’re super kind and helpful.

A very bicycle friendly hotel with very friendly owners and staff. I was on a bike packing tour and could bring my bike right into the spacious room. They even have special bike stands that they provide - so no leaning against walls.. The hotel is situated on top of a hill overlooking the valley with nice views. Very big room, very quite, excellent dinner as half-pension option..

Only "downside" is the steep climb on the last 200m on the bike... just kidding 😂😂

Small Hotel with all the facilities you could need and it was out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The view from the outside was amazing

It is a super nice hotel with a great pool. The people also are very nice. The new owner startet it just in December 2022. We are here by car and it is perfect for a visit to the Alhambra - just 10 minutes by car.

The staff was amazing and very friendly. Lillian was very sweet.  Although the neighborhood it's just average, the actual hotel is really beautiful and sits on a wonderful hillside with incredible views.
