We always struggle to find decent accommodation when we go skiing on Sierra Nevada. This hotel is an amazing discovery! Only 30 min drive to the resort. Very clean, comfortable rooms with all new furniture, spotless bathrooms. Plus free parking and a very nice breakfast! Staff amazing and very helpful. I am absolutely sure we will be back!

One of our two rooms did not have a window in the bathroom, and the room smelled bad like waste waters. Pillows were also very tiny. Extra blankets in the room would be another "nice to have".

This was actually a nice hotel very clean and well equipped room for the price in a very quite little town and just 30mins from sierra nevada.

The only downfall was with the food very limited selection and preparation.but the portions were also very large. Also the lighting system was the first for me as you need the room door closed for the lights to work if my son or anyone opens the door the power comes off.

I input my travel dates incorrectly when booking. I contacted the property to change them, and they replied by sending me a dot. As the property listing states they speak English and have a 24-hour front desk, time or understanding should not have been a reason for their terrible communication skills. Checking this website, the hotel was full on neither the night booked or the night intended, but they still took my money and made no effort to do the honest and helpful thing. I had stopped at this hotel before, as well as the one over the road; there is little to choose between them - basic accommodation at a much cheaper price than can be found in Sierra Nevada up the road. I usually have one or two stopovers per season where I have stopped at one of these hotels; an act of kindness that followed my mistake could have guaranteed I used this hotel every time in the future. As it is, I will always be using the other place in the future.
