Breakfast looked truly excellent, but I had to catch a taxi to the bus station and was unable to completely enjoy it in the time I had available. Very serene and peaceful surroundings . It was the last night of my 2 weeks in Spain and 3rd night in Granada before travelling back to UK via Malaga.

I had booked half board and was booked in to dinner that night. I had a very enjoyable starter which was beautifully presented. I found main course difficult to choose but had veal. It was very tender and an enormous serving which I couldn't finish. I found it annoying that my first course dishes etc were incompletely cleared from the table as I ate the main course. I feel travelling as a single female that service is sometimes a bit careless in the detail. All the staff were friendly and otherwise helpful.

We visited Granada city, 20minutes downhill walk from the Parador which is situated inside the Alhambra. Lots of hotels of every size and for every budget, but we came away with the impression, that to stay at the Parador enhances the experience as any guided tour, we booked a 3,5 hs tour with a guide (many thanks for this informative tour, ANTONIO), begins inside the hotel, a restored convent and ventures outside from there. Dining on one of the Parador's terraces outside offers beautiful vistas and is recommended. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, we reserved a parking space by writing ahead and to drive up to the Parador and park inside its own parking is a bonus.

There was absolutely nothing not to like and if we came back we would stay here again.

This property is set in gorgeous gardens right on top of the Alhambra with everything you want to see in the Alhambra right outside your door. The old part of Granada is an easy walk down the hill but taxis are also available. Our room was very nicely renovated and had everything we needed including a lovely view. The beds were comfortable, with crisp sheets. Air conditioning was efficient. The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant (reservations needed) is excellent as is the more casual cafe terrace.

it was perfect.

Location inside Alhambra, beautifully maintained, clean, quiet room, beautiful terrace bar and restaurant with excellent, but limited menu. Staff friendly and helpful. After a long day of sightseeing - it was a quiet oasis. Breakfast was excellent with hot options- omelets, eggs etc.

Had to change rooms because of loud frogs by beautiful pond - but staff was very accommodating and immediately gave us another room. Would have liked USB ports by bed. Dinner reservations were only available for late night (10pm).

The view, the tranquility, the sound of running water, the flora and fauna

Checking out, the gentleman on reception wasn't particularly nice about vacating the parking spot. We had an Alhambra tour booked from 9h30 to 12h30 so would be vacating the spot at 12h30.

such a beautiful location and so nice to stay right on the property of the Alhambra. we had a great view of the Generalife from our room with a nice shared outdoor space.

the restaurant was a disappointment. the ambiance is like a large overly lit hotel conference room and the food was marginal. the outdoor cafe was much nicer with views of the Generalife.

We have stayed here twice because it is so well located and provides every service you need in order to see both the Alhambra and the old city of Granada. It is surrounded by trees and has both indoor and outdoor dining areas, with the latter being shaded and a delightful place to eat. Our room was not large but well designed - we were there to visit the Alhambra and Granda and enabled us to do so very easily. Check-in staff were great and made sure we got to see the Alhambra (we missed our tour 7 years ago)! The Alhambra and Generalife are bucket list material - just amazing, and so easy to get to from the Parador! Do yourself a favour and book one of the larger suites - the showers are amazing!

Nothing really - if you are driving and follow the instructions the Parador provides, it is easy for you to get to the top of the hill and into the carpark. Note that tourists will not be expecting cars in the Alhambra area so you just need to be patient for them to get off the road to the Parador!

It goes without saying the location is fabulous and a real bonus to have secure parking compound on site. The central courtyard and terraces were a feast for all the senses. Being onsite allows visit to the Palaces and Gardens Late in evening and first thing in morning (with appropriate tickets)

Location in Granada cannot be beat. Being part of the Alhambra means even the hotel itself is steeped in history. I knew it was an old Nasrid villa converted into a Franciscan monestary but was surprised to find the original burial site of Isabella of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon just outside the main cloister of the building. The restaurant was great, particularly the patio in the evening.

You absolutely cannot beat the location. It's situated in a beautiful garden, with incredible views. The restaurant overlooking the gardens is gorgeous. It's very quiet at night, with lots of stars. The walk to town is through a forest. It feels very special and secluded in the hotel.

I do feel that, for the price, breakfast should be included. It is buffet style, though you can order from a menu for no additional charge. I was traveling with my two daughters and contacted the hotel to see if there were a triple room. They did not respond. The day we were to arrive, I was contacted and told that an additional bed would cost 105 additional euros per day. After a bit of a tense exchange, they agreed not to charge me. The bed in question was a very uncomfortable rollaway. One thing to note is that the hotel is situated up a very big hill from the main part of the city. It's possible to walk it, but it was difficult in the heat.
