Hard to say, because so much was exceptional with very much, nothing, a negative Frankly, the biggest surprise was just how special the location proved to be, and not just because of the convenience of stepping across the street to The Alhambra. Granada is a wonderfully complex city and having such a calm, comfortable foundation, such as this hotel, separate yet close, linked by a beautiful park-like path into the city center, from which you can explore neighborhoods and cultural touchpoints. And, yes, The Alhambra, illuminated across the street when you return in the evening, standing silently as it has for centuries, is just stunning.

Really, nothing Maybe, being that the walk into the city center is downhill, the walk back is uphill... something about what goes down must come up. There you have it...

First of all the warm welcome. In many ways the reception staff made us feel welcomed and super helpful for any questions. Car was valeted therefore no hassle to park. Most of things are within walking distance, and taxis are reasonably priced too. The quality of the place made our last leg of the journey memorable. We were very tired after a week of holiday around andalucia, many hours of driving, so it was lovely to rest while exploring Granada on the doorstep. The other thing I’d like to mention is the shower fitting that actually allows us to put things on top! Small things like this make us feel really at home so well done whoever decorated the place! Shower pressure is pretty important for me, and none of those little bottles lying around.

Nothing - everything was amazing. Food was lovely too. Some may complain about the noise from people walking up and down Alhambra as well as vehicles, but we always travel with our earplugs so no problem for us. I slept like a baby.

Unbeatable location, beautifully designed property and wonderful service

No loading/unloading area before check in or after check out. Make sure to be ready to quickly drop your luggage while blocking the street. There is a parking lot about 600 feet where you can safely park.

Excellent staff and facilities. The park nearby makes you feel in a little oasis. The breakfast is worth paying for - great variety, and fantastic options. The location is great if you plan to visit Alhambra and the staff will guide you to the appropriate gate to get ready for your visit.

We were there for 2 nights and housekeeping skipped our room in the cleaning process (assuming they prioritize rooms that were checked out for the next guests). I’ve never seen this at a 5 star hotel.

Pool area could be made more attractive.

Such a wonderful location! We’ll never forget waking up and having coffee on our balcony looking right at the historic walls of the Alhambra, watching the birds and listening to the wind in the trees. We like to run and walk, so it was amazing to be just steps from the Alhambra grounds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was easy to valet-park our car.

We had some maintenance issues with our room which we would not have expected from a hotel of this class. On-site restaurant is expensive, although the staff was very helpful in finding alternatives.

I liked the location, just 3-minute walk to the main entrance of Alhambra and 10-minute walk to the city center. If one does not feel like walking, there are mini-buses running frequently to and from the city center. However, I preferred taking a taxi when needed to avoid crowds. There are two taxi ranks near the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area surrounded by a beautiful park. The interiors are elegant, modern and with a romantic touch. My room was very clean, bright and spacious. The king bed was very confortable. A minibar, a coffe machine and a kettle were also available in the room. The bathroom had both a large shower and a bath tub. Toiletries and slippers were available upon request. The restaurant was good and I particularly enjoyed breakfast for its variety and quality. All the staff was amazing and contributed to making my stay memorable.

Great location right next to Alhambra entrance. Was nice to be up the hill, in parkland and away from the noise and heat of the city center.

The hotel is beautifully designed but it's all very dark, dark dark. Dark panelling everywhere and dark moody lighting. Chilling out in our room felt like a northern European city center hotel and not really hot, sunny Andalucia. Personally, I found the bed a bit hard and had a stiff back each morning. We looked at the pool but being the size of a stamp and with only four sun loungers didn't bother trying to use it. We paid extra for a room with a view of the Alhambra. Waste of money. These rooms are all on the side that gets no sun so they are dark and we were on the top floor. Plus there are thick trees along the road so you really just get glimpses of some walls between the trees.

We loved the fact this property is located slight further from the main town centre of Granada. But so close at the same time. This allowed to walk the cobble streets and really explore where we were. This hotel is also located only about 300m from the main entrance of Alhambra. Breakfast had a lot of options from your typical Spanish food to eggs, bacon, cereal and pancakes. The hotel does have a rooftop pool, wry small gym and a sauna / steam room. This was fantastic when needing to relax after a long day exploring Alhambra. Our room was very large and looked onto the walls of Alhambra. Although the room was on the main road, we didn’t hear any cars or pedestrian traffic. The staff were absolutely amazing from helping us book Flamenco and dinner show to organising taxis in the city airport within a moments notice. Would absolutely stay here again just to enjoy the tranquil location
